Hello everyone! I know this chapter is like a day early but I have just found a lot of free time now. So here we are. Now I have absolutely no idea how I'm going to do this chapter and how I'm going to have naruto find a solution to his gaara problem but I have many ideas for this chapter that I want to do and some I will do this chapter. Now that we have that out of the way I just want to say thank you all for reading this story I really appreciate it every review I see makes my day and every view favorite and follow makes me feel like this is worth publishing.
Anyways i got a review for last chapter giving ideas for people I could put in primis. The new ideas were Hinata, Karin, Zabuza, and Haku. I think I could make something work but I only want a few people in primis. Hinata is the one I'm taking into account (Don't get any funny idea's naruhina shippers) As the reasoning given is valid Hinata would most likely have the caged bird seal and be an embarrassment to hiashi but she might have a good relationship with neji. I think this would be a good pick for primis as she could be a medic but I need to think about that more.
But I need to think of repercussions and what would happen if two hyuuga's defected as yes Neji is a confirmed pick. Anyways chapter 7: Living desert begin!
Naruto pov
Naruto shunshined away from the site turning into a different person than before. The henge was a really useful jutsu. Naruto then looked back and saw that suna's anbu was heading toward the hotel, the now-destroyed hotel. Naruto stopped looking and just started walking instead of shunshining.
'That was close, I hope that man will be okay' Naruto thought. He didn't know where that man was being taken to but hopefully, somewhere that can treat him.
Suddenly he felt immense pressure. Like someone wanted to kill him. It wasn't the one he felt before... it was more sinister than normal... almost like the foxes chakra
Naruto looked up toward a building and saw the same boy he saw kill that chunin the other day looking at him with a depraved grin...
"Mother wants your blood" The boy's smile was a depraved one like last time.
"I don't see anyone around here that could be your mother... but I'll take your word for it" Naruto pulled out a kunai and watched as sand sprung to life around him...
"Shit,"
Sand sprung to life around the boy and naruto. Sand rushed toward Naruto and he dodged, throwing a kunai at the boy. The sand formed a shield around the boy absorbing the kunai.
"What the hell?" Naruto was astonished by the sand. It acted on its own to protect the boy it seems. 'I need to think fast. I'm fighting a crazy person who controls sand in a desert. Wait I have an idea'
Sand kept rushing towards Naruto but he kept jumping out of the way grabbing onto buildings and support beams. "Water-style Gunshot!" Naruto shouted forming orbs made out of water chakra inside his mouth. He spat out three orbs of water chakra toward the boy. Another shield of sand formed around the boy blocking the sand bullets. The sand became wet and heavy as the water hit it
The boy looked confused at his sand being heavier. This mustn't have happened before. Naruto shunshined toward the boy, bracing a punch for the boy's face. Sand grabbed naruto's leg before he could reach the boy "Crap" Naruto said as he was flung back towards a cushion of sand which grabbed him and wrapped around him
"Sand coffin," The boy said, lifting his hand up in the sky and raising up the sand and naruto inside of it. He closed his hand "Now die!" The boy expected blood but instead, he got
"Praise the holy log!" Naruto exclaimed as he watched wood chips explode out of the sand instead of his blood.
"The holy log?" The other boy was now confused. He was wondering what the holy log was
"Yep, the holy log always answers when you call," Naruto attempted to spread his belief to the boy.
It didn't work as the sand sprung to life again forming senbon in the air and all around naruto
"Ooh boy" Naruto began forming hand seals again. "Wind style great breakthrough!" Naruto aimed his jutsu at the ground as the senbon almost reached him. Then as the jutsu fired off the senbon reversed direction and spread out back into sand. Naruto then looked back up at the boy "Why are you trying to kill me?" Naruto asked. He wanted to try diplomacy. He stood a few meters away from the boy
"I'm trying to prove my existence," The boy said. To him, it was as simple as breathing.
"Trying to prove your existence? Killing people is proving your existence? I don't know what kind of fucked up existence you have going on here but you need help" Naruto felt pity now. What kind of fucked up childhood led to this?
The boy Didn't say anything. But he took note of how Naruto didn't seem to be scared of him, which wasn't something he had seen before. More sand sprung to life. "You will prove my existence" the boy turned the sand into sharp spikes which rushed quickly toward naruto.
Naruto tried to dodge the sea of spikes by using his speed to run away but this time the sand was faster. "Argh" Naruto's side got cut deeply. He put a hand on the wound which cut through his disguise and revealed his true face. 'Shit I need to end this quickly ' He thought as his wound was bleeding heavily. He looked back at the boy who was grinning as he looked satisfied. It was a depraved grin
"Alright, no more mister nice guy" Naruto began channeling Kyuubi's chakra 'Damn I wish I could stop relying on this' He looked back at the boy. Naruto's eyes were now red, his whisker marks were more pronounced, and his hair was wild. Naruto's claws extended to their full size and they were fully sharp now too. Three inches long and sharp as a fresh kunai. Naruto hunched down and looked at the boy who looked somewhat shocked but not fully
'He is like me mother' The boy told his 'mother' inside his head
Shukaku paid that no mind and started shouting "KILL HIM, KILL HIM, KILL HIM, KILL HIM, KILL HIM" Shukaku seemed to be angered by naruto's transformation
"Yes mother," The boy said aloud. Sand rushed towards Naruto faster than ever trying to grab him.
Naruto dodged with ease. His wound was also beginning to heal thanks to Kyuubi's chakra. "I'm stronger now. Faster too" Naruto gloated in a now demonic voice weaving in between attacks of sand going in for the attack with his claws poised for the boy's abdomen, He was hoping to incapacitate not kill.
Naruto channeled chakra to his legs 'faster, I need to go faster!' He began shunshining as well. He was beginning to feel a searing pain in his legs like his muscles were being torn apart
Finally, he reached the boy but he noticed something. "Fuck" his arm was elbow-deep inside a wall of sand. He felt something warm and sticky on his hand though originating from his third claw
"What's this? It's warm... and sticky... It's blood MY BLOOD!?" The boy said in utter shock.
"Sand collapsed around Naruto's arm, crushing it...
"AHH FUCK" Naruto howled in pain. He pulled his arm out of the bloody sand wall.
Naruto was now looking at the boy with sand around his arms, head and torso.
"Is it too late to say sorry?" Naruto asked. His arm was heavily damaged so were his legs and he was exhausted
"DIE" The boy said, aiming a giant fist at Naruto trying to kill him in a brutal death.
Naruto shunshined out of the way.
"Sorry to say this but I have to go," Naruto said Shunshining away. The boy tried to follow him but
"Gaara enough" Gold dust came crashing down on the now named gaara
Naruto pov
"Everything hurts' ' Naruto said to himself. He had shunshined away from the boy to an alley. 'I feel like my arm is shattered and my legs are dust, '' Naruto thought as those three limbs were in absolute agony. Also, the mark on his left hand was acting up again. 'Why now?' Naruto asked himself as the mark just made things worse.
'This is just great though, everything hurts and I don't know if I can go to a hospital' Naruto had no idea where he could go. He was a foreign person in suna and he fought one of its shinobi. Speaking of.
'I really should recruit him some time. If I can convince him to join me he would be a valuable ally.' Naruto was getting ideas now. Even though he had emerged that fight a loser he had gained valuable information
Naruto then crawled further into the alley to get further into the shade.
"What's this?" Naruto felt a slab in the alley that was slightly higher up than the other's. He pressed down on it and then slowly a door opened. "Well lucky me" Naruto said as it looked abandoned. This would be a good hiding place for now
Naruto crawled into the room and the door closed behind him.
Root squad pov
"YOU DID WHAT!?" shouted D. B had just gotten back and admitted to fighting naruto.
"But it was fun. The only thing I regret is not following him" B said. She was disappointed at the fact she and naruto's fight ended so soon
"YOU BROUGHT ATTENTION TO THE WEAPON AND TO US. WE HAVE NO IDEA IF THE WEAPON WILL REMAIN HERE OR NOT" D shouted at B
"Aww don't be like that. The weapon fought suna's and they got damaged so they should be here still!" B exclaimed
"How do you know that?" D asked now confused
"I had a shadow clone watch. It was an awesome fight!" B sounded excited.
D perked up again "Did you see where it went?" D asked as they could keep this mission short if B had
"Nope!" B said
"You just made this mission a lot longer" D sighed. "Did you at least get any dirt on suna?"
"Yes I did! Apparently, suna is dirt broke and now they are allying with the new village hidden in the sound!"
"I see this is troubling... as soon as A or C gets back i will have them report to danzo sama" D said
"What about me?" B asked
"Oh no, I'm keeping you on a leash. You can't be trusted and you need to go through more strict training" D said
"Fineee" B said
Suddenly another root anbu appeared
"Ah C just the man I need
Kazekage office
Rasa sighed. So you're telling me... someone was able to damage you?" Rasa asked. He had to hear this for a second time. It was just impossible
"He was strong and he threatened my existence... Now let me go" Gaara sounded annoyed. But he now had a goal. This mysterious person had injured him. Nobody other than his father has ever done that before. He needed to fight the boy again. Especially since he was like him.
"No, Gaara you threatened the life of the villagers so you need to be punished. Go to your room and we will find an appropriate punishment for you later" Rasa said. He had more issues to deal with. Was this kid a spy? How did he get in? Where was he now?
Sand surrounded gaara protectively but it didn't do anything. Gaara left without speaking a word to his father.
"ANBU" Rasa shouted. A bunch of people wearing standard sunagakure jonin attire entered but they had pieces of cloth that resemble turbans to cover the lower halves of their faces leaving only their eyes visible to the kazekage
"Look for a boy roughly Gaara's age. He wears a pair of dark orange pants, a black long-sleeved shirt, Fingerless gloves, and shinobi sandals. The boy had black hair, blue eyes, and three whisker marks on each cheek" Rasa told his anbu the description gaara gave him of the boy. "Bring him to me as i want to interrogate him myself" Rasa wanted to try to convince the boy to join suna. If he could damage and survive gaara he had to be strong and he needed all of the manpower he could get.
"Yes kazekage-sama" The anbu chorused simultaneously. They weren't the biggest fan's of the kazekage But orders were orders.
"Good, also try to bring him in unharmed" Rasa finished as his anbu left
"Now onto different matters" Rasa looked at his paperwork. It was something he hated with a passion but he needed to see if the daimyo had decided not to be an asshole.
*Sigh*
Rasa began working on his paperwork.
Time skip a month later: Hokage's office
"I've located Tsunade," Jiraya said jumping through hiruzen's office window
Hiruzen jumped out of his seat in surprise "Oh jiraiya-kun you scared me" Hiruzen said not registering Jiraiya's words for a second...
"Sorry about that sensei," Jiraya said. He then leaned against the wall
"It's fine jiraiya-kun. Anyways you said you found Tsunade yes?" Hiruzen asked. He was hopeful since if anyone could convince Tsunade to come back it would have to be jiraiya.
"Indeed I did. She's currently at Tonika Village gambling her life away. Gotta say though she looks as good as ever" Jiraya said with a perverted grin at the end
"I see, well shall I send Anbu to go and get her?" Hiruzen asked. He wanted Tsunade back as soon as possible.
"Nah I got it sensei. Just let me do the leg work here" Jiraya said. He just wanted time to peep.
"Okay, jiraiya-kun. Make sure though you keep an eye out for naruto though" Hiruzen said. "Speaking of him has your spy network gotten any intel on his whereabouts?" Hiruzen asked
"Actually yes. Currently, he is in sunagakure. Apparently, the brat fought the kazekage's son and got away too. He also might be in suna still based on what my spy told me" Jiraya told the old Hokage
Hiruzen sighed of course naruto would be causing trouble in another village. "Do you think I should send anbu after him?" Hiruzen asked his student
"It's too risky... I can go look for him though" Jiraya said with a glimmer of hope in his eyes
"No, I need you to go find Tsunade. It's either one or the other jiraiya" Hiruzen said.
"Naruto I will go look for him," Jiraya said without an ounce of hesitation in his voice. He needed to atone and this was the first step
"Are you sure jiraiya-kun I could really-" Hiruzen was cut off by jiraiya
"Old man you and I both know there is no chance in hell Tsunade comes back. Naruto on the other hand might be convinced either by diplomacy or by force" Jiraya told hiruzen
*Sigh* "I guess jiraiya. But you better come back with something. Anything would be wanted
"Thanks, sensei!" Jiraya said before leaving for sunagakure. He had a naruto to catch
Hiruzen looked back at his paperwork. He had a nice distraction but now was the time for business. *IT DOUBLED AGAIN* Hiruzen started forming hand signs " Fire style: Fireball jutsu!" Hiruzen said but unluckily for him
"Bad Hokage-sama," Said one crow who was one of his guards. He grabbed his hand before he could finish the last hand seal
Naruto pov
"Let's see, today is the day I can finally take off the cast," Naruto said. Truth be told, Naruto got very lucky when he stumbled into one of the workshops of Sasori of the red sands. He had a lot of fucked up shit but he also had everything necessary to patch up a human body... and turn it into a puppet it seems. Normally the healing process would take a lot longer but he had the Kyuubi's chakra to help heal him. It had been a whole month of constant agony and reading but he was now recovered
It sucked that his cover was blown but he now had no reason to stay in a henge. He wanted to talk to the boy that caused this. Not for revenge but he wanted him to join him. He had figured out he was a jinchuuriki too and it seems he had a worse life than him. So he now wanted to help the boy get a better life. But he also wanted him to join him. He would need to beat him first. He needed more water jutsu as well. Maybe the water bullets would help. Also he needed to improve his already existing jutsu. Maybe learning how to make more water orbs and how to make stronger gusts of wind would help.
"And there we go" The cast was now off and naruto could move his arm freely again
Naruto got up from his chair and began cycling through hand signs he had some work to do
Academy
"Team seven consists of Sasuke Uchiha, sakura Haruno, and sai your sensei is kakashi hatake" One chunin iruka umino said
"HAH TRUE LOVE TRUMPS ALL INO-PIG" Shouted one Sakura Haruno. She had been placed on a team with her crush Sasuke Uchiha who was sitting to the left of her. "Isn't that right Sasuke-kun"
"like Sasuke-kun wants to be on a team with you forehead!" Ino shouted from the left of Sasuke. Currently, Sasuke looked miserable at the moment
As Sakura and ino continued to bicker Iruka got more fed up "BE QUIET" he shouted using the big-head jutsu. They stopped immediately. "Anyways team 8 consists of Kiba inuzuka, Shino aburame, and Hinata Hyuuga (Said girl cowered at her name being called she looked really nervous and shy. She wore a cream-colored hooded-jacket with a fire symbol on the upper sleeves and fur around the cuffs and hem. She also wears navy blue pants and she has her forehead protector loosely around her neck. She also wore bandages around her head.) Your sensei will be yuhi kurenai"
And finally team 10 will be Shikamaru Nara, chouji akimichi, and ino Yamanaka your sensei will be asuma sarutobi" Iruka finished
"May you all go on to serve Konoha proudly"

Well that was a fucking exciting chapter. Hopefully you enjoyed as this was a long one. I kind of expected it to be a lot longer than this but hey it's good as it is. well over 3 k words. Anyways i know this is early like way earlier than normal but i had the free time so i decided to write it out today(Tuesday) instead.
Anyways not much news here today so question of the chapter time!
So what did you all think of the gaara vs naruto fight? I know i could have had naruto win but i want to extend this arc for a bit and personally, I enjoyed that fight.
