Do I own pokemon? Think for three seconds.
This is the price I pay
"Pokeball, go!"
I obey my catcher
"Use tackle!"
I fight my own kind
"Counter with your own tackle!"
They hurt me…
"Use quick attack!"
And I hurt them
"No! Fight back with hyperfang!"
We fight until one of us collapses
"Pidgey, use gust!"
But what can I do?
"Tackle it, rattata!"
I'm just a small
"Pidgey, use your tackle!"

"Rattata, use tackle again!"
worthless
"Pidgey, counter it with wing attack!"

"Rattata is unable to battle."
I fight in return for food and safety
"Pidgey, return!"
And stay trapped in a tiny cage
The boy smiled down at the pokeball
This is the price I pay
