Chapter 19

Ash, Lillie, Gladion, and Minami are now at the remains of the Aether Paradise. Lillie frowns, "To think this was our home before we were forced to escape..."

"Yeah, good thing we managed to get everything away before it was burned like this." Gladion sighs. "Some of the rooms are still intact, we can stay there and talk about our plans."

"Yeah." Ash says. "Our plans are going to involve the Totem Pokemon, there are two Totem Pokemon and 18 different trial sites."

Ash shows the map as they see the locations of the Totem Pokemon:

Gumshoos, Komala (Verdant Cavern) Bewear, Passimian (Melemele Forest) Toucannon, Oricorio (Ten Carat Hill) Alolan Muk, Toxapex (Malie Garden) Mudsdale, Palossand (Vast Poni Cavern) Lycanroc (Midnight, Midday) (Akala Outskirts) Golisopod, Araquanid (Poni Breaker Coast) Dhelmise, Mimikyu (Thrifty Megamart) Dugtrio, Togedemaru (Mt. Hokulani) Salazzle, Alolan Marowak (Wela Volcano Park) Wishiwashi, Pyukumuku (Brooklet Hill) Lurantis, Tsareena (Lush Jungle) Vikavolt, Alolan Golem (Hokulani Observatory) Bruxish, Oranguru (Seafolk Village) Alolan Ninetales, Alolan Sandslash (Mt. Lanakila) Kommo-o, Alolan Exeggutor (Ancient Poni Path) Alolan Persian, Alolan Raticate (Po Town) Comfey, Ribombee (Melemele Meadow)

"Now those are the actual locations of the Totem Pokemon, and there are a total of 36 that we can find to help." Ash says.

Just then, they feel a little shiver as the cold winds have been blowing at them. Lillie says, "Should I stop the Curse right now?"

"Maybe around the Aether Paradise, with the curse of the Ice Aura Users...this is supposed to be a tropical region..." Ash mutters.

Each of the Aura Users has its own curses, and the curses are also terrifying.

Normal: Explosions will randomly occur in the world, no one is able to predict where it happens.

Fighting: People will randomly get injured by outside forces without warning, such as in car accidents, falling down stairs, being scratched by pointy things, and so on.

Flying: Strong winds will keep blowing, and sometimes creates hurricanes and typhoons.

Poison: Food and water will become poisonous, causing a lot of people to get sick or die from it.

Ground: Earthquakes keep happening day after day without warning.

Rock: Sandstorms keep happening with no one can see the path in front of them.

Bug: String Shots and goo are on the road, making a mess.

Ghost: All kinds of virus and diseases causes people to either get sick or die from them.

Steel: The surface becomes smooth and slippery, sometimes there are spikes on the road that breaks the tire of the car and hurt people.

Fire: Harsh sunlight and the constant fire mess.

Water: Flooding the area.

Grass: Overgrowing plants cause roads to be blocked or those who are allergic to be in pain.

Electric: Power shortage without any restoration.

Psychic: Oxygen becomes less and people are hard to breathe in the air.

Ice: Unforgiving Blizzard.

Dragon: Meteors from the sky shoot down and destroy everything.

Dark: Eternal Darkness is confusing day and night.

Fairy: A giant fog that blinds people.

Grand: The Rumbling

Only the Royal Blood Aura Users are capable of doing the Aura Curses, and only Royal Blood Aura Users can stop the curses. So far, only the Ice Type Aura Curse is now active in the Alola Region, however, the Alola military has been helping the region by giving warm blankets, heaters, and so on to let people in the Alola Region get adapted to the weather.

"Lillie, I think it is time we stop the curse." Ash says.

Lillie smirks as she calls off the blizzard, and the Alola Region's temperature is starting to rise.

With the Alola Gang in Pokemon's Trainer's School, they start to feel the heat rising, and Mallow says, "Why is it getting hotter and hotter?"

Kiawe walks outside and says, "The sun is back! After four years!"

"But why?" Lana asks.

"That means they are here..." Sophocles says. "Ash and Lillie are here in the Alola Region. They declared war on the Alola Region a few days ago and they seem to be here!"

"But where exactly are they?" Mallow asks, and then they get a call from Sun, the current Alola Champion.

"Poni Island is under attack, we need all the help we can get!" Sun commands.

The four Trial Captains are terrified as they quickly get to Poni Island, but what they've seen is not what they've expected. There are only 20 Aura Users behind Ash, Lillie, Gladion, and Minami, and a lot of corpses and human bodies are on the ground, all of them are soldiers on Poni Island.

"If you think that will stop me, think again!" Ash yells as he has Incineroar use Darkest Lariat while his Hisuian Decidueye goes for the Triple Arrows.

"Ash, it seems like they have summoned reinforcements!" Lillie says as she notices Mallow and the others with the soldiers behind them.

"Lillie, Gladion, and Ash..." Mallow says with horror.

"Nice to see you again as well." Gladion says sarcastically. "Zoroark! Lillie! Night Daze and Venoshock!" Both Zoroark and Nihilego fire the attack at the four people, who manage to dodge the attack.

Ash says, "I see that you four are still trying to fight us. Let's see how you can beat us."

Kiawe, Mallow, Sophocles, and Lana send out Marowak, Primarina, Vikavolt, and Tsareena, Lana says, "You are not going to take our region away! You devils!"

"Yeah, considering you managed to brainwash Kukui and Burnet, you're not going to leave the island alive." Kiawe says.

Ash snarls after hearing the names, he says, "Me? Brainwashing people who treat me like a family no matter if I'm an Aura User or not? How dare you!"

Lillie creates a lot of Ice Balls and throws them at the four, causing them to fall to the floor. "I still remember their deaths, and you're going to pay for it!"

"I still can't believe you changed a lot, Lillie... where was the shy girl who we met years ago?" Mallow frowns as she has Tsareena attack Lycanroc, who dodges and goes for Accelerock.

"That girl has ceased to exist. I'm Ash's wife and he is the one who taught me that I have to fight to live!" Lillie says as she raises her hand, "Kyurem! Come out and use Glaciate!"

The Legendary Pokemon appear as he uses the Ice Type attack to freeze the whole area. Ash says, "Lillie! Gladion! Just freeze them and we have to advance forward! We need to get to the Ruins of Hope! That way we can save Hapu and call the Totems to help us."

Minami says, "Now let's go!"

Then they summon four Rapidash and they start to run through the Seafolk Village. Mallow yells, "They're getting away!"

As they try to chase, the other 20 Aura soldiers are blocking their path and they start to kill every soldier on the way. "We'll protect our prince and princesses!" The soldier yells as the other Aura users cheer.

After they swiftly rush to the Poni Breaker Coast, they manage to get to the Ruins of Hope. They rush in and they find a giant strength puzzle. "No wonder the Kahunas are trapped... look at these Strength Puzzles..." Ash says.

"Let's fight our way out." Lillie says as they send out Machamp, Bewear, Beartic, and Cooperajah to push the boulders, and however, just as they are about to reach the inner ruins, a Shadow Bone is about to attack them until Lillie has Bewear block it.

"How did you manage to get past our soldiers?" Ash asks with surprise.

"We go through the water route." Lana says while doing the pose. "Oceanic Operetta!"

Ash, Lillie, Minami, and Gladion are surprised as they aren't in time to block the attack, but just then, Tapu Fini appears and uses Protect.

"Tapu Fini!" Ash, Lillie, Gladion, and Minami are delighted. Tapu Fini creates the Misty Terrain as Hapu walks out of the room. "You've come."

"Hapu, nice to see you safe and sound." Ash says.

"And it is also nice to see you again." Hapu says as she stomps on the ground, creating an Earthquake to make the trial captains fall down.

"No way... that's Earthquake?" Sophocles asks.

"The Kahunas are Aura Users, only that we asked them not to reveal themselves while having the corrupt military take over the Alola Region." Ash says with a smirk.

"Tapu Fini! Please help us by using Soak!" Minami says as all of the Aura Users and their Pokemon become Water Type. "Now let's go!"

They all jump into the water and swim out of the cave. "They're using the same trick as us!" Sophocles says in shock.

"After them!" Mallow says as they rush outside, but once they are outside, they see Tapu Fini summoning 8 Totems on the island: Araquanid and Golisopod for Bug Type, Mudsdale and Palossand for Ground Type, Bruxish and Oranguru for Psychic Type, and Kommo-o and Alolan Exeggutor for Dragon Type.

"Now guys! Let's do this!" Then all of them prepare their Z Move. Ash says, "Use Savage Spinout!" Golisopod shoots out a lot of giant silk that starts to bind the soldiers and Pokemon until it becomes a giant cocoon, then he slams them to the ground and tosses them to the air until it slashes open to cause the soldiers and Pokemon to fall to their death.

"That's brutal!" Mallow widens her eyes in horror, they've never seen Totem Pokemon using Z Moves, because they know that if they use it, they will cause the opponent to get killed with an instant.

"Tectonic Rage!" Hapu yells, Mudsdale then stomps the ground with its front hooves, causing a fissure to open underneath the Pokemon and the soldiers, who then proceed to fall in. Mudsdale burrows underground and rushes at the opponent before sending them flying with a full-force tackle. Afterward, Mudsdale emerges from underground and the fissure closes.

"Shattered Psyche!" Minami yells, and just then, Bruxish's eyes glow pink and suddenly, the soldiers and their Pokemon are floating into the air, and then they start to fly until they are crashed into some sort of Psychic barriers time after time until they are crashed into a bigger one before falling to the ground limp.

"Devastating Drake!" Gladion yells, Kommo-o then forms a purple orb of energy in front of its body and thrusts its hands forward, firing the orb at the opponents. The orb then changes into the shape of a dragon and attacks the opponents, exploding on contact.

Seeing the loss, Sun calls them and asks for a retreat. Mallow yells, "Guys! Abandon the Poni Island! This island is a lost cause!"

Then they all quickly flee the island, and both Ash and Lillie smile as they see them fleeing on ships. "Now we have the Poni Island..."

"How many loses do we have?" Gladion asks.

"We've lost 5 people." A soldier informs them.

"5 losses for the whole Poni Island... And there are 3 more islands. We will need reinforcements."

"Of course. We have secure the Poni Island and the Aether Foundation. Now we can have more of our forces to come and we'll take over the other 3 regions!"

Everyone nods in agreement and they are going to take action. Lillie asks, "And now what?"

"Lillie, we'll go to the Altar of the Sunne. It's time to get Nebby back." Ash says.

"Nebby!" Lillie smiles as she misses the Solgaleo. "What are we waiting for? Let's go."

Then they all quickly leave and head there.

And here is a new chapter, I explain the curses and the Totem Pokemon in Alola. The Kahunas and their relatives are also Aura Users, but I didn't mention them because they are imprisoned and are waiting for the time so Ash and the Aura users can save them. I hope you like this chapter and the next chapter will be the Ula'ula Region.
