Lily was walking down the isle. Ahead of her, at the end of the isle, waiting at the altar, was her true love.

James looked at his bride. She was walking towards him, smiling. God, he loved her smile. He loved it every time he spoke his name. His heart would flutter madly when Lily was around him. Now James's wish came true. He would be marrying the girl of his dreams. Lily Evans was soon to be his wife. Soon to be Lily Potter.

Lily reached the altar. She gave her flowers to her brides maid, Sarah Lucas. James and Lily joined hands. The priest conducting the service was Professor Albus Dumbledore. They proclaimed their love for each other by saying their vows. Then Dumbledore said to the couple, "You may kiss your bride". So James lifted up the veil, which was hiding his angel's face. His lips leaned forward and met with his bride's. The congrgation all stood up, and shouted and cheered. Sirius Black, Remus Lupin and Peter Pettigrew all whacked James on the back, after he had finished kissing Lily. It was one very happy day.

There was a picture of James and Lily Potter kissing on their wedding day. It was kept up high on their cupboard in lounge room. It remained there even when Voldemort (aka Tom Riddle) killed the happy couple. Hagrid saw the picture when he took the little baby Harry Potter to his new home in Surrey. He kept the picture of James and Lily, which he would one day give to Harry Potter when he came to Hogwarts.
