At 5 he met a man who says he can make his quirk stronger so he can be a hero. - "Dream... Again..." Thought Izuku as he started to uncoil his large serpentine body "hungry.."

He figured this'd be a quick, easy cash grab. Paid big bucks to use his quirk to knock out some brand new UA Students and bring them back to be ransomed! This shouldn't have been a problem! Maybe...maybe he should have checked who exactly these students were first.
