This is the first piece of writing here, so be nice unless it sucks. In that case, you
have my permission to tell me so. This is a poem from Rinoa's POV, in the final battle
against Ultimecia, to Angelo.

Wishing Star
Now I'm hurt and almost out
My dog is near without a doubt
As I wish upon a star
I'm granted powers from afar
She takes us up to outer space
We hit our foe with speed and grace
We shower blows like pouring rain
But the enemy can take the pain
It won't be long before she falls
The strongest sorceress of all
For so long we've had to fight
But now I start to see the light
She sets her powers straight on me
And my strength begins to flee
Soon I'll start a course through time
Although my life is in the prime
I've loved the times with you, my friend
Even now, the very end
No! I feel a change in tide!
My friends, they fall on either side!
Is this the end? Have we lost?
Have we paid the final cost?
Is there now a warmth residing?
Yes, there is, a Phoenix rising!
On my feet, my strength I gain
With the awesome Rebirth Flame
Again we have a chance to strike
To try and win this endless fight
Come, my dog, let us go
It's time to give the ending blow
My Angel takes me up to space!
We hit again with speed and grace!
It worked, my friend, the battle's done
At long last our team has won!
Angelo, you've been so true
My friend, my pet, my partner too
Helping me in all hard times
