Gatomon Hunting

A/N: this fic is PG, season 02,mostly about Gatomon, some Takari, Kenlei. Italics are the people's thoughts. Short story.

" Bye Gato" Kari said walking out the door, she was going to see a movie with Tk. It was a double date ,with Ken and Yolei.

" Wait" Gatomon said. Kari didn't hear her.

I'm so hungry. Gatomon thought as went to see if Kari left her any food. I can't believe she forgot to feed me. I wonder what I can find.

Gatomon heard a noise. I smell a rat. She chucked as she thought of how easy that rat was going to be to catch. She snuck to the refrigerator and crouched down to wait for it. She waited and waited but it didn't come out.

The rat ran to living room. Gatomon pounced the rat, she missed and went flying into a glass lamp. It fell onto the carpeted floor and shattered into shimmering shards. Gatomon dusted herself off and scolded herself.

I'm a champion level digimon. I should be able to catch a little rat.

She ran after the rat as it went into Kari's room. I've got it now. The digimon jumped, effortlessly, up on Kari's nightstand to see if she could see the rat. Gatomon forgot that Kari had left some orange juice on the stand. It toppled over and splashed against the girls bed, It soaked Gatomon.

THAT'S IT!!! Gatomon was fuming mad.

The rat stopped to sniffed the air, unaware of it's destiny.

" Lightening Claw!!" Gatomon yelled the attack disintegrated the rat.

So much for that meal. Gatomon laid down and went to sleep.

Kari and Tk came in to see that her family's apartment was a wreak. " Gatomon" Kari yelled.

" Wonder, what happened here" TK said sweetly to Kari.

" Kari I'm sorry" said a tired Gatomon that smelled like orange juice." I was trying to catch a rat"

"Why?" Tk asked.

" I was hungry, Kari forgot to fed me."

Kari picked up Gatomon and hugged her.

" I'm so sorry!" Kari said.

Gatomon, Tk and Kari spent all evening cleaning. Then Tk left. Of course Kari gave Gatomon a bath.

" I'd fight the Dark Masters again, if that would get out this water." Gatomon pleaded.

"No way!"

Gatomon curled up next Kari and went to sleep.
