Passion & Peril
It was early morning as the tawny sun ascended to lift the mask of azure
darkness. The different shades of indigo transformed into illuminating shades of yellow.
Hermione had just woken up and was gently tousling her bushy brown hair. She got up and looked out the window at the breath-taking sunrise and her thoughts turned to Harry. The both of them were starting their 7th year and he still hadn't noticed her. Yet she had been in love with Harry for what seemed like forever. She refused to believe he still held on to that lovestruck crush of Cho and that he loved despite the way she shamelessly broke his heart.
She had hoped the kiss she gave on the last day of school had brought him to his senses and if not sparked some feeling for her. She ultimately shocked everyone by doing it, why shouldn't he love her ? She suddenly realized how early it was and decided to go back to sleep so she got into bed and curled her covers.
Meanwhile Harry lay in his bed sleeping fitfully dreaming of the Forbidden
Forest and not knowing his dream would turn into a nightmare.
Begin Dream Sequence
The sun was shining brightly and Harry found himself leaning against a huge oak tree with his hands in his pockets. When finally he noticed that his hands happened to be in a smashing tuxedo and he gasped " Huh".
" What am I doing here ?" replied Harry.
" Harry, what's wrong with you ? " said Hermione.
"Nothing" mumbled Harry.
Suddenly he noticed Hermione. He couldn't believe his eyes. She was adorned beautifully in a loose white satin dress that reached all the way to her bare feet with a short train. Her cinnamon brown hair hung elegantly in a bun with a frosty white orchid tucked into her hair. While she also held an exquisite bouquet of ruby orchids.
" Hermione, you look gorgeous" said Harry looking quite love struck.
" Why thank you Harry ? At least some one thinks so. My mum thanks I look absolutely awful." sighed Hermione." But I think you look quite handsome yourself " replied Hermione quickly. " Now what's taking you so long " said Hermione.
" What are you talking about Hermi ? said Harry.
