Hi ya! Lesse, I am trying to learn how to write "short" stories, aka ones
that do not take me months to crank out... and that aren't full of way too
much detail for my wn good, so here is another attempt at that by me, this
one is a real shortie...I might try to expand it a bit later, but let me
know whatcha think , because well I love feedback :)
Disclaimer: Nothin' is mine, I didn't even put Willie in this story *pout*
And well the tittle comes from a song that you all might just loathe me to
hear where it came from....but it was what I was downloading when I started
this...not that that really excuses me in anyway, let's just say I led a
sheltered childhood...

Summary: Would prob be longer than the story
"this one's for the children"
Jareth walked back to the throne room, many goblins lay about, several were
asleep in the pit. He pulled off his gloves and slowly the guises fell
back.
A little boy yawned, rubbing the sleep in his eyes. A little girl glanced
up at the King, "Can we go back to the nursery now?"
"Of course my girl, go ahead." The small red head woke up a few of her
close compatriots and toddled out of the throne room.
A trio slowly entered the room, "Your Majesty," they bowed towards the tired
monarch.
"Just the gentlemen I was looking for, I was wondering, if perhaps you three
could help me. It seems we have all had a rather, tiring afternoon." He
gestured towards the room of sleeping children.
"Certainly Sire," The Knight of the Rather Cowardly Steed bowed, and headed
towards a small cluster of drowsy children.
The kind hearted beast, Ludo gently picked of several of the sleeping ones
whilst nudging others towards the door.
"Come, Ludo help little ones."
Jareth bent to pick up the boy who had yawned at him earlier, cradling his
precious load, he headed in the direction of the Rock Caller.
"Yer Majesty," Jareth stopped and slowly turned, inclining his head he
spoke.
"Yes Hoggle?"
"Yer Majesty, I don't understand..." the dwarf shook his hands.
"You mean why?"
"Yes, yer Majesty."
Jareth started walking towards the hall, his lieutenant following behind,
holding hands with two drowsy little girls.
"You see Hoggle, these children were wished away, one way or another, there
is no way around that. Many of those who wished them away, truly did want
them to suffer such a fate...they were an eyesore to them, even without the
spell. The spell really holds no power over anyone; beauty is in the eye of
the beholder after all. You and I see happy, healthy children. Hope to all
and yet helpless. To others they were viewed as a burden, when they come to
my Labyrinth, truths are revealed. Of course, many of them are only to me,
because after all a king needs a few privileges. However..."
"But yer Majesty, is that why she said, you had no power over her?"
"Well perhaps, but not in the way she believed, Sarah matured a great deal
thanks to your company and my Labyrinth, but she still has a way to go
before..."
"I think I understand, sire." The dwarf interjected, aware of Jareth's
feelings on the girl. It was indeed that many truths were revealed when in
the Labyrinth, especially when one calls it home.
