She Isn't a Muggle
A/N: I wrote this 'cause I wanted a small
break from Fate or Fortune. This has nothing to do with that story though. Tell
me what you think and maybe I'll keep going.
Disclaimer: J.K. owns Draco and anything that has to do with him, I own
Mariah and the plot. ;) Enjoy! J J J

"Excuse me! What
the hell do you think your doing?" Mariah Bader yelled at the silver haired boy
who was looking through her notebook. She had been writing outside a small café
across the street from her flat, and had just come back from ordering her meal when
she saw the boy flipping through her notebook. The boy just drawled,
"I'm
looking through this notebook. Why, is it yours?" he teased.
"Yes
it is you bloody git!" Mariah cried grabbing the notebook from his hands.
"You know…you
shouldn't be talking to your superiors like that, it's very rude." Mariah
raised her eyebrows,
"My superiors?!
Who the bloody hell do you think you are?"
"Draco Malfoy, you
ungrateful muggle." He replied. Mariah smiled to herself. She now knew who this
was, she was in her first year at Hogwarts last year, and he had been in his
fourth. He doesn't know I'm a witch! She pretended to be confused and
angry,
"Muggle?! What the
hell are you talking about?" Draco smiled broadly. Ha! She doesn't even know
what I'm talking about! He pulled out his wand and pointed it at her,
"I told you that
you were being rude, and nobody treats a Malfoy with disrespect!" He threw a
hex at her but his wand suddenly shot from his hand. He looked at the girl who
was now holding it, with another that was her own. She had pulled out her own
wand and whispered Expilliarmus before he had finished his hex. She
smiled smugly at him and said,
"Maybe if you paid
better attention to the students who attend your school, you would still have a
wand, Draco." Then she snapped his wand in half and stomped on it until it
was nothing left but splintered wood. He stared at her with furious surprise
and sneered,
"You messed with
the wrong person, my father is a Death Eater and second in command to Lord
Voldemort!"
"Is that supposed something
to me?" Mariah asked nonchantly. Draco stared at her in shock,
"Don't you know
anything? My Father could kill your whole family and it would be all because
you broke my wand…how daft are you?"
"Well it would be
pretty hard to kill my family when they are all buried six feet under ground!"
Mariah whispered fiercely. Draco stepped back and murmured,
"Oh."
A/N: Okay so that
was pretty short. But if you want I'll keep going. Just tell me what you think.
Constructive criticism always helps! I don't remember how to spell Expilliarmus
and I'm just too lazy to check. If I do decide to write more than you'll
have to wait 'cause I'm going to be gone for the rest of this month and some of
August. I was hoping I could find a British beta-reader, is anyone interested? E-mail
