Someone to hold me
The dark night encased me in a maddening depression
In my minds eye I see
The cold winter winds sweep her ebony locks
In a torrent around her slender frame

A vision of beauty
A wondrous being that outshines the heavens
She worries too much, her temper a dormant volcano
Whose heat offers passionate comfort and safety
Every day the sun sets and to reveal the moon
A representation of what we once had
And what will never be

And I want to end the suffering
Destroy the sun
So it shall never rise again
And watch the moon as it burns the sky
Leaving nothing but a empty space
Where my heart used to lye

I know I can't end the anguish
So I look upon what I can only admire
From a friendly distance
Not with hate or jealousy
But sorrowful tears
As I hold myself and cry
