A/N. Eh. Okay, I think I'm okay now, not that anyone was worried, right??? Anyways, the ABC's of life is a new thing that I started. Ordinary, everyday things are described as ( I hope) you never would think of them as. Some of them will be sappy, some will be sad, some will be, well, just plain weird. Anyways, on with the story...this one's from Izzy's Pov...

I'm sure you were all expecting that. But let me tell you why dictionary was the word I selected.
Dictionary. A dictionary is a reference book, used to look up the meanings of words. A dictionary contains a great deal of information, And it can be wondered how so much is contained in a single inanimate object. That is how, or so I believe, it applies to me. I am considered smart, by my peers and teachers. And often people wonder where my source of information is.
When you see a dictionary, you know what to expect, simply by looking at it. When people see me, they, too, know what to expect. They expect to get a computer genius who probably knows more about programming than they do.
But a dictionary also has it's own secrets. Probably not a single one of you has read through the entire dictionary of the English language. You can open to a page and almost definitely find a word that you haven't come across before. Just as there is more inside a dictionary than most people know, there is more to me.
Most people think that academics is my life. Academics and computer studies. But that's not all. Not many people really know me, for me. Not many people know the me that sometimes just wants to get in a car and just drive and drive for hours, simply looking out as the scenes change around me. Not many people know the me that wants to use words like ain't or gotta. Not many people know the me that sits staring out at the rain for hours, wondering what it would be like to fall from the sky and land unharmed on the ground.
But like a dictionary, not many people take the time to find out. Not many people want look up that odd word in the dictionary unless they have to. Not many people want to get to know me on the inside. All they see is some computer geek that spends all his time in front of a monitor. But one day, someone will get to know on of these things about me. And someday, they just might realize that there's more to me than what you see on the outside.
