Relena glared enviously as a bouncy violet-eyed reincarnation of Death slung his arms around Heero's shoulders. HER Heero. And what was more, the Japanese pilot had quietly wrapped his arm around the American's slim waist, fingering the chestnut braid.
Who's got you hypnotized
Got you mesmerized
Relena approached the two boys, tapping Heero's bare arm and smiling sweetly at him. He shot her the patented Yuy Death Glare TM. She ignored it and latched onto the arm that wasn't around the ever-grinning American who was chattering away at her. She shot him a look of cold hatred.

Relena impatiently tugged on Heero's arm. He stood unmoving, only clutching the braided boy closer to his side and glaring even harder at her.

Relena glared harder at the infuriatingly cheerful American. She suddenly let go of Heero's arm and grabbed Duo's braid, yanking it. Duo's eyes widened and his head flew back as he yelped.
Take this relationship and send it straight to the well

She yanked harder on the boy's braid as he began to yelp even louder.
"Heero!" he shouted. "Get this insane woman offa me! My hair! My hair!"
Heero's eyes narrowed further and he growled.
It's been a while since I've known something's wrong
At first you had me thinking everything was gone
Relena saw Heero glaring at her. She wondered why her beloved would do such a thing when she was doing this for his own good.

I let that fool come in and tear our world apart
Relena continued to yank furiously on the protesting and pained pilot's braid. Duo sat on the ground, yelping, "Heero!"

Relena viciously yanked on the braid again and again. As she prepared to do so another time, Heero grabbed her shoulder. Her cornflower eyes sparkled. "He's finally figured out that this is for his own good!" she thought.
Heero pushed her roughly away and she fell to the ground.

Relena's eyes filled with furious tears as HER Heero leaned down and whispered quietly and kindly into the braided boy's ear. Heero fingered the braid in Duo's hands as Duo choked, looking at his disheveled pride and joy.

Relena stormed away, full of rage as tears streamed down her cheeks.
Heero pulled Duo up as Duo still looked sadly at his ruffled braid. Heero took the braid from Duo, placing it in his own hands, and gently kissed the soft chestnut hair. Heero slowly removed the black band that held Duo's braid intact. Duo's braid unraveled and his chestnut hair fell about his shoulders.
Heero kissed his lover's nose gently, and put his arm around the slim boy's waist as they began to trek towards their flat. Heero ran a hand through the soft hair and Duo smiled softly. The two knew no one could break this spell.
