Aya sat down on the grass that overlooked the ocean. It was sunset.
The orange sky made his hair look a brighter shade of red. He sat there
thinking about the past and the future. Images of fire and his sister
at the hospital played around in his mind. Then he thought of Ken and
saw his smiling face. He really admired Ken. Ken was always so
relaxed and happy. Not like him. He was rigid and stiff with his
feelings. He really wanted to move forward; to forgive the people who
hurt him, forget about the past, and just live in the moment. The
problem was he didn't know how or where to begin. He didn't like his
present either. Being an asassin just fueled his hatred and vengeance
toward people. And he wasn't sure whether he liked being a florist
either. He started to cry. Then he felt a gentle hand on his
shoulder.
"Huh?" he turned around and saw Ken smiling at him.
"Aya, what's wrong?" Ken asked. For the first time, Aya was glad
that someone was being nosy. He *did* feel like telling someone
everything that was wrong. Ken's kindness encouraged him.
"Ken, can I talk to you?"
The End.
