Undeniable Passion
Prologue

He watched her silently. He loved everything about her, the way she looked, the way she moved, the way her eyes lit up when she saw him, the way her laughter rang out like a crystal bell. He smiled softly as his eyes follwed her every graceful movement.

She stopped, confusedly looking around her.

He sucked in his breath, ducking back behind the tree, so she wouldn't see him.

"Hello?" she called out hesitantly, her posture becoming stiff. She brushed a strand of hair out of her face and looked around with shrewd eyes, "Is anyone there?" she called out.

He stayed behind the tree, barely even breathing. So close, and yet so far. He yearned for her touch, to feel her soft skin against his own, to hold her and caress her in ways that he hadn't for a long time. He longed to kiss her, to hold her body tightly against his own, to feel her slender fingers dance over his skin like feathers.

"Hello?" she called out again.

He sighed heavily. He was going to succumb to temptation once more, the same temptation that had ruined his marriage. The temptation that had caused his wife to leave him alone, when she found out about it, his wife choosing to take their children with her.

He stepped out of the shadows of the tree and into the pale circle of light that fell from the above streetlamp. She stood there, with her back to him, not noticing him.

The light hit her tresses which cascaded down her back to her waist, throwing part of her white blouse into shadow. A stray night-time breeze caused her knee-length skirt to lift up slightly. She shivered nad turned around.

Her breath caught in her throat and she stared in his eyes. She closed her own shimmering orbs for a moment, breathing heavily, the passion of nights spent together thundering into her mind all at once. She shuddered, remembering the pleasure he had brought her, the pain of the relization that they couldn't be together, but now he was back...

He blinked furiously, tears springing unbidden to his eyes. They quickly died away as the lust, longing and desire returned full-force, worse than ever before. He stepped close to her, placing one hand on her shoulder and one under her chin, forcing her gently to look him in the face.

She leaned into the semi-embrace, placing her weight on her toes in order to become closer to him. As she raised her face to meet his, her eyes shut softly.

He pulled her close and placed his lips over hers, softly and gently before the passion that had been burried inside him eruppted all at once. His hands roamed over her body, as if to assure himself she was really there, that she wasn't some ghostly apparition that would disappear without a trace. His mouth pressed hers, urgently, passionately, rekindling the flames of the lost years.

She drew back suddenly, afraid. She panted, catching her breath. Her eyes looked up at him, questioningly, "What about my husband?"

"Hush." he said, "My apartment is near." he smiled softly, "And your husband won't have to know." with that, he kissed her with a heightened fevor.

Well, who do you think the mystery couple is? Yes, this is a multi-parter.
