This poem takes place at the end of 'No Need for Ryoko'. I know Ryoko came back in the conclusion, but
it sure looked like she died. My theory is that someone (Nagi for example) brought her back to life. This
poem reflects Ryoko's thoughts as she dies on Ryo-Ohki.


I gave it all I had.
For once in my life,
I did the noble thing.
I took Him
To rescue Her.
I guess I didn't really expect to make it.
To survive.
But I did it anyway.
And I made it.
He was safe.
At least as safe as I could keep him.
It was all in his hands now.
And I
I went back to space
Back to the stars.
Just me and Ryo-Ohki now
Alone again.
But it was worth it.
I know I did the right thing.
For Him
I made the ultimate sacrifice.
For I will die
As I once lived
Alone
And unafraid.
