What women want
Have you seen this Mel Gibson movie, "What women want"?
Well, I have. But I´m not a bit wiser.
What do woman want, anyway? I´ve been asking that myself a lot
since a certain breathtakingly beautiful and intelligent, little
redhead stepped into my life.
Does Scully want the same things that most women want? A husband,
a house with a white picket fence, 2.5 kids and maybe a dog? You
never know. But I hope she also likes the life she leads now.
If there were a god I would ask him to let me hear what Scully
thinks. Just for a few minutes.
Don´t get me wrong, I don´t want to hear all women´s thoughts
like Mel Gibson could do. No, Scully´s enough.
She´s the only one I care about. She´s the only one I want to
make happy.
But there isn´t a god who let´s me know what she wants.
Soooo. I guess she wants to be loved and respected, and not just
as the smart FBI agent she is but as a woman.
But does she want me to be the one who loves her?
Hmmm, I guess I´ll find out, eventually. Perhaps I should take
her out for dinner and watch the movie with her. Maybe she´ll
tell me what women really want...
Yep, sounds like a plan.
This is really, really weird. This will be my first date with
Scully. Why the hell haven´t we done this earlier?
Because I´m chicken-shit when it comes to her. I´m afraid she´ll
turn me down.
But this has to end. Today. I can´t wait any longer.
What if Scully falls in love with another guy and leaves me to
get this house and the 2.5 kids?
That thought is even more frightening than telling her how I
feel about her.
Perhaps this is what women really want. Men telling them the
truth about their feelings and not hiding behind some smart-ass
remarks like I do. At least I hope that is what Scully wants
and needs.
Yeah, I think I got it.
So, Mel, what women really want is to be loved, respected,
treated as equal, yadda yadda... But what they need most are men
to be honest about their feelings. Nice theory, huh?
I´ll start trying it tonight when I ask her to go out with me.
I´ve never lied to Scully about this, but I also haven´t told her
the whole truth. I´ve always held back and covered my love for her.
Oh god, I just hope she´ll like what I have to tell her...

What women want
Have you seen this Mel Gibson movie, "What women want"?
Well, I have. But I´m not a bit wiser.
What do woman want, anyway? I´ve been asking that myself a lot
since a certain breathtakingly beautiful and intelligent, little
