The END
As Aki watched the eagle overhead she remembered the words she told Grey not
to long ago; 'He's waiting for life to return.' Life to return she thought sadly, the only life
that mattered to her was Grey's and he'd given it up in order to save her and the planet. I
thought you told me 'no heroics today, by the books.' She let a few stray tears run from
her eyes at the thought.
A wind blew lightly, "Thank You…"
What? Aki looked around quickly, "Who's there?"
"Thank You child…"
"Alright this isn't funny, come out." She partly growled, partly pleaded as she
clung tighter to Grey's cold, limp, body.
A blue light began to form in the wind, "I am Gaia the spirit of the planet."
Aki gasped, "What…what do you want."
"I have come to thank you child, you saved me and the spirits of all; now its our
turn to repay the debt."
The blue energy landed and entered Grey, "Our debt is repaid." The spirit
vanished.
"Wait!" Aki called after it.
"Aki?" asked a weak voice.
Aki looked down "Grey?" she asked in disbelief .
"Aki." He reached up and caressed her cheek, "Don't worry, this is real, not a
dream anymore." He reassured her.
Aki had tears of joy streaming down her face, "Oh Grey I thought…"
"Shhh." Grey put a finger to Aki's lips to silence her.
Grey began to move his head up slightly while Aki dropped hers slightly. The two
kissed for all it was worth. When they finally parted, "Grey I love you."
"I love you too, Aki."
THE END?
There it is, I hope you liked it. Yes, mushy I know but I missed the Final Fantasy
