By the Moon (Lupin)
by Felix
It begins again...
My heart begins to pound.
My head starts to spin.
My muscles begin to convulse.
No...! I can't let this happen again!
What if I infect someone with my disease?
It won't happen because I will not let it!
I grit my teeth and commence a fruitless battle against myself.
It allows me enough time to reach a deserted area, far from any wizard, witch, or muggle.
And then the transformation continues...
I am suddenly bathed in gray fur.
I wince and yelp in pain as my bone structure alters itself in seconds.
I must resist the urge to hunt!
I must resist!
I must!
And then I curse the moon as I reawaken...
