A/N: Hello. This Is a poem that I wrote the other day. I figured it could either be
about Vincent from FF7, or Seifer from FF8. I uploaded it onto FF7, but nobody
seemed to care. ;_; I finally decided to take it where I would at least be acknowledged.
I hope you like it.



Judgment Day

I recall the eyes as they burned deep into my soul
As the burdens of guilt began to take their toll
The fiery gates of hell, so inviting do they seem
Yet past the tempting gold is a world of torturous screams
Thought they say man has but one chance in life, I strive to prove them wrong
Yet I am not mere man, you see, but a demon that does not belong
In due time I will once again rise above this wretched dwelling place
To become the man that I never was, forgetting the past that I can not face

Oh the screams of pain that echo in my conscience from some unrelenting source
All the lives that I ruthlessly claimed, of which I have genuine remorse
Tell me, do I deserve any pity or a chance to make amends?
For what I have done is unforgivable, and for that, my suffering shall never end
I must aimlessly wander through this eternal pit of dispair as punishment for my crimes
Until the day of judgment comes, far beyond the sands of time.
