Mary
Daniels walked out of her hut totally refreshed. It had been a great night in
her little Norse village, the creature had supplied them with food once again
and it had rained on the crops. She thanked the great deity that protected her
land and quickly made her way towards the village store. She never got there…
Nobody
knew how it had happened or where it had come from, but it was there plain as
day, lying on top of poor Mary. Her neighbors thought that it was an act of
god, but the creature assured them that his master had nothing to do with it.
They
buried Mary in the cemetery outside the village. On the headstone was written:
Mary Jane Daniels
Died: April 1st,
1473
Cause of Death: Freak Flying
Cow.
