In this AU of Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch, Marcassin and Swaine (Gascon)'s stories are switched in a twist of fate. What happens when Marcassin is the runaway theif, and Gascon the emperor of Hamelin? Note: In this AU, Gascon is a Great Sage, not Marcassin. Also, they both still lose the same piece of heart they normally do.

If Queen Nerea doesn't lose her mind before Evan and the team pop up from just sheer boredom, then she'll probably lose it to Leander's antics. A possible prank war, manliness contest and random spells out of nowhere will do that to anyone after all.

Roland very quickly finds out that under no circumstances should you ever expect Bracken to listen to new rules. It doesn't stop him trying, but as Bracken becomes a real handful whilst recovering from an injury, Min Ti may be his only choice to stop her from being so darn reckless all the time.
