It was anothe slow day in the ER, every sundy night
it was like this, Kerry knew it wouldn't pick up so
she decided to call a staff meeting, they hadn't had
one in months so why not?
"I want everyone to be there its at 5:30, and if you can't please
tell me ahead of time,"she said to the nurses and
the staff that had gathered around the admit desk.
"Carol its your job to tell:Carter,Abby,Luka and
Mallucci,I want to see everybody there!"
Kerry left the admit desk and headed to treat a
patient when she ran into Dave,"Dave there's a
staff meeting at 5:30, can you make it?"
"Of course cheif,i've got nothing else to do,"said
Dave.
"What no date?"asked Kerry
"Nope, kind of tired of going on dates every single
night, just really need a break,"said Dave.
That didn't sound like Dave, but it didn't bother
her too much so she just walked over to the exam
room.
*Back at the admit desk*
Carol sat there at the computer playing Doomsday3
when Carter and Abby walked up lauging.
"Oh, Carter, Abby there is a staff meeting at 5:30,
don't be late Weaver will kill you,"she laughed.
"Wouldn't miss it," joked Carter
"Whatever I'll be there," said Abby.

The staff began to assemeble into the lounge, everyone
but Dave.
Kerry stood up in front of everyone and looked around
to see if anyone was missing*Mallucci, wheres Mallucci?*
she thought.
"Carol, have you seen Malucci?"asked Kerry
"Umm...yea I saw him over by exam room 4 about 20 minutes
ago."
"Can you go find him for me?"she asked.
"Sure thing,"said Carol as she left to head over to
exam room 4. She opened the door to find Dave lying
on the floor in a pool of his own blood.
"Oh God!"She screamed. Carol ran back to the lounge
and got everyone
They all ran as fast as they could to exam room 4
Kerry bent down and checked for a pulse,none, she
turned him over and he was pale, his lips blue. There
was a gun shot wound to the heart, he had been dead
for almost 30 minutes.
Carol got a sheet and layed it over his dead body,
"Who would ever do this to him?"
Kerry said,"Well we know it wasn't a patient, we havent
had a single one in 6 hours, so it had to be an out-
sider or a staff member..."
"Does everyone have some one to vouch for where they
have been in the last 30 minutes?"
Everyone nodded as Kerry one by one had everyone vouch
for eachother.She said,"Well that clears everyone so
I gue-"
Carter cut her off,"What about you Kerry, how do we
know it wasn't you?"
Kerry knew it wasn't her but how could she explain
that she was in the bathroom constipated?
"I was in the bathroom,"she said.
"For thirty minutes?!"said Romano.
Kerry started to blush she looked down,"I was consti-
pated,"she barked.
Everyone began to laugh.
"Okay now we have to find out who did this
to dave! So stop laughing, we will need to call
security!"
She hobbled over to the phone and picked it up, then
before she could even dial the phone went dead.
"The phone is dead."she said and the whole room
fell silent.
