"Darien "
The love of my past,
Our love grew so fast.
I'll treasure you forever and a day,
No one shall stand in our way.
We met when our countries were as one,
But the foregoing palace is perpetually done.
Parties and dancing with you,
I'm truly glad my wish true.
You showed me things outside my princess life,
And you ask me to be your wife.
We were so young and knew nothing but of each other,
And offered to stay and protect my mother and me.
I fell for you quicker than I thought I would,
Held cautious whether or not if I should.
Who could say no to your captivating face?
While next to you, my heart would race.
Being together was forbidden and I loved every time I snuck out to greet and kiss you,
Risk my existence is what I would do.
Darien, there was so many things I wanted you to know,
And I never wanted you to go.
So many words unsaid,
For I fear you are dead.
Danger was all about,
So there you sprout.
I begged for you not to depart to fight,
Now all I do is cry at night.
Where are you my love, please tell me,
It's only with you that I want to be.
Mother was kind enough to let us live once more,
You in my heart, I store.
But life without you, isn't life at all,
To the depths of hell I'd rather fall.
Not have you by my side,
Is like going away forever to hide.
I miss you more than any being would assume,
My love is now in doom.
I want to disappear and be set free,
From this life I crave to plea.
You're not there for me to love, so why should I say,
I'll live another life and wait for you any day.
