This story is a Nan and Dan story.
It was a cold snowy day a plumbfield it was 4 days till Christmas all the children not just because of the holiday but they did not have any school work. But there were two people at plumbfield and they were Nan and Dan. Nan had been happy her father had said he would come but at the last minuet had canceled and Dan had no family. Later that night Dan heard a soft whimper coming from Nan's room she was all alone sense Bess was thigh her parents. He quietly crept into her room. She was curled up on the bed in a ball. He ran over to make sure she was all right. When he got over there he new she was not all right. He got closer and gave her a hug it shocked her at first but then she new who it was. She sat up and looked at him.
Nan: "What are you doing in here?"
Dan: "I heard you crying. What's wrong?"
She then told him how her father had canceled on her.
Dan: "I'm sorry". It was simple but all he had to say.
Nan: "Thank you". It meant so much to her to know that some one cares.
-------------------------------------------------------Christmas Eve---------------------------------------- Everyone was singing as Nat played his violin. The song end everyone clapped and told Nat what a grate job he had done. Ever sense that night Nan and Dan had become closer and Mrs.Jo notests this. As did Bess so she came up with a plan. That night after every one had gone to bed she got up and put up mistletoe in every door way. Some way they would have to kiss. Little did she know while she was putting up mistletoe Dan had come in there room.
Dan: "Nan?"
Nan: "Dan? What are you doing in here?"
Dan: " I had to tell you something."
Nan: " What?"
Dan: "I uh I really like you" Nick had help him with his courage.
Nan: "You do?! I like you to." Mrs.Jo had helped her.
They heard Bess finished up down stars he gave her a quick kiss and left.
-----------------------------------Christmas Morning-------------------------------------------------------- All the children were up yearly than usual. They all ran down to the parlor. They all got to open one before they ate. Nan opened Dan's it was a gold locket.
Nan: "Oh Dan I love it!"
Dan: " I thought you would like it."
They sat there for a minuet staring at each other all of the sudden at the same time.
Rob,Emil,andTommy: "Kiss her already."
They looked at each other and then kissed.
