A/N: Hmm, this is a kinda character POV (well at the beginning anyway). Major character death etc.
Dedications: This fic is dedicated to all of my close friends. I can't be bothered listing them. They know who they are... well, they'd better.

She stood at the doorway, the moonlight adding a slight shimmer to the tears that rolled down her cheeks. Her limbs had lost feeling hours ago... it was just after that phonecall. When they told her. Closing her eyes, she shifted her weight onto the doorframe, leaning against it like a crutch. It was solid. Yes, solid like their relationship had been. They were close. They knew eachother. But things... things changed. Things changed so very quickly. One minute they were together. The next she felt so alone. Noone there to guide her through the pain... the heartache. She hadn't even had the chance to tell her. She didn't have the chance to tell anyone. Not enough time. Well, there was never enough time. Slowly, she opened her eyes again and peered out into the street. The street-lamp cast it's yellow glow of a solitary figure.Tall and slender, skin a wild contrast to the darker shades of their attire. Stepping out of the doorway, she inched into the drive then stopped. Lifting her eyes to meet those of the creature before her. The figure glanced down at its feet, strands of blonde hair falling forwards to hide the lustful smile that played across it's lips. Moving closer, she reached out her hand, almost to reassure herself that the creature was real. The figure returned the affection, clasping her one hand in both of it's own. The distance between them decreased, and she blinked back the tears that threatened to fall as her companion lifted her chin with one hand, stroking her bottom lip with the pad of it's thumb. Hooking it's hand behing her neck, the creature pulled her closer claiming her lips in a kiss that seemed to last a lifetime. She stood, unwilling to move as the figure wrapped it's arm round her waist and the intimacy grew - the world around them dimming as passion set the couple alight. Kissing down the red-head's neck, the vampire released a deep growl as her vampiric nature stole over her face and heightened her senses. Willow felt the blonde's lengthened teeth scrape across her throat and whimpered, causing the demon to tighten her grip as she plunged her fangs into the Wiccan's neck. Pulling away, Tara licked her lips and spoke to the near-dead girl slumped on the floor, "The pain... it'll all go away." She ran a long fingernail across her own wrist and held it to her lover's mouth while she drank, "I promise."

A/N (again): This is just a one chapter fic. I don't intend to continue it. Apologies if that's disappointed anyone.
