Based on the game Papers Please, this is the story of a man whose life is turned upside-down after he is chosen to serve as the immigration inspector in the strict land of Communist Arstotzka. Several characters from the game make appearances alongside some of my own. This is loosely based off of one of the endings, so if you don't want it spoiled, you have been warned.

The Tale of Jorji Costava is about a man who dreams big. He will get there, by any means necessary.

Elisa is a young woman from Kolechia. With nothing left for her in her native land, she wishes to defect to Arstotzka to be with her love, Sergiu. Will she make it past the border? This is a fic from Elisa's point of view as she goes through the Grestin Checkpoint.
