Running in anger, in hatred, Gohan fled to the forest to escape the reoccurring nightmare that he continued to have. It was three months since his father sacrificed himself for the world. Every dream Gohan had was of his father dying for nothing and everyone was killed when Cell blew the planet up. This was the last for him. He took off from his home and fled into the woods. After some time he came upon a fairy dressed in blue and had long brown hair and wings that seemed to touch the sky.
"Gohan," inquired the fairy, "Why are you running?"
"I am running away from my father dying!"
"Can you breathe?" asked the fairy.
"Yeah, but what does that have to do with anything?"
"If you are calm I can help you." replied the fairy gently.
"You can't help me! You can't bring my father back!" he screamed.
The fairy put two gentle hands on his shoulders. "Gohan, please calm down!"
"Alright! What do you want from me!" Gohan screamed.
"I want you to calm down and close your eyes. I want you to picture yourself somewhere peaceful."
"Sure, what have I got to lose?"
"You have nothing more to lose but more to gain." the fairy said in a soothing tone
"What do you mean?" Gohan inquired.
"You shall soon find out." the fairy replied in a singsong voice.
The fairy laid Gohan on the ground and placed her hands on his head. Once she did that, she placed Gohan into a trance and probed his inner thoughts with her mind. Emotions assulted her. The fear of facing Cell alone and losing his father. The knowledge that he was killed in the future by the androids. The fairy cleansed his mind, not taking the memories away, but taking all the pain out of them. Gohan felt himself slip, as if he was dying. He screamed, but woke in his own bed.
