A star swept sky hovers above me
Reassuring that everything will be alright
A gentle wind skims over me
Chilling as the cold night air
And I shiver, wishing for my coat
By I would not give up this night for my life
And I nestle into my lover's side
Listening to his breathing, a calming sound
I almost wish he were awake
But this is a moment I'll always cherish
Taichi and Yamato were both laying on the grassy hill, and Yamato had his head resting on Taichi's chest. Yamato smiled faintly as the world rose up and down as Taichi breathed in and out and he was able to guess by the rhythmic movement that Taichi had fallen asleep.
He sighed in contentment as he stared up at the sparkling dots above him and let his mind drift. The stars reminded him Koushiro's living room. When Koushiro had moved out he had gotten his apartment from an artist, who had painted all the rooms. The artist had managed to capture the night sky with swirls for deep blues and while it was still drying he had thrown a little bit of glitter on it.
Koushiro hadn't minded that it was almost impossible to make his living room bright, because it served as a romantic setting for him and his new boyfriend. Especially since his boy friend was allergic to pollen from the grasses and they couldn't just go out and lie down on a hill to do their stargazing.
His mind drifted further, and he wondered if something in the digital world had affected them. His little brother and Iori were dating, as were Miyako and Hikari, Daisuke and Ken, and Mimi and Sora. He bit back laughter at his next thought.
If they had wanted they could have a gay pride parade during the digidestined reunions.
A breeze wafted through the trees, causing Yamato to shiver and he was surprised when strong, warm arms enfolded him.
"Do you want to go in?" Taichi asked, bending his head to whisper in Yamato's ear.
"Not yet," he whispered back, turning his head so he could look Taichi in the eyes.
"But you're cold."
"So warm me up," Matt answered kissing his boyfriend tenderly wishing he never had to leave.
