Shinji would ask a certain blue-haired babe out on a date.

Spotting the so-called
babe over by her usual lunch spot, Shinji made a beeline for the quite girl,
trying to keep from exploding from nerves.
Once standing a few feet
from Miss Pilot of Evangelion 00, Shinji cleared his throat.
"Ayanami-san? can I
sit next to you?"
Looking up from her book
of the week, the red-eyed girl's blank gaze boared into his dark-blue orbs.
...
...
...
"you may."
came the quite reply.
Hearing this, the shy
boy sat down while on the other side of the courtyard, Asuka was currently
smacking some perverts for fun.
"So, err,
Ayanami-san, hows it, err, going?" stammered Boy Wonder.
Removing her eyes from
the book again, the girl gazed at the young Ikari without any traces of annoyance
and blinked at the question.
"..." was the
reply.
"Err, well hows
school been of late?'

...
...
"find
Ikari-san."
Returning to her book,
Miss Princess of 2015 continued reading.
Shinji on the other
hand, just sighed and glance at the bunch of girls who seemed to be lead by
Asuka, and saw them ganging up on Touji and Kensuke for some reason.
Turning his eyes back on
the beauty of the 7 seas, Mr Ikari decided to bite the bullet and ask the
question.
"Well err,
Ayanami-san, I was wondering if you would go to the dance with me, err, if you
don't mind!" Shinji had said that last part very quickly and had crossed
his fingers, hoping for the right answer.

...
"dance?" asked
the ever so quite girl who annoys all those Asuka fans out there.
"Yeah, dance, you
know, the school dance this week!"
Cocking her head to the
side, the girl gave the appance of thought before pulling out her cell phone.
Seeing this action,
Shinji raised his eyebrow at the strange action and watched as Rei hit a speed
dial button. After a few rings, Shinji
could just hear a male's voice, and he knew it wasn't Kaji.
"sir, the third has
just delivered code A8-66, what are you orders?"
After a few moments of
listening to the reply, Miss I'm-just-as-cute-as-Nene turned off the cell and
gazed at the Wonderboy again.
"the commander has
issued an A8-66.A, you will ask the second to this event and will not issue
code A8-66 again to me."
Turning back to her
book, she continued to read.
"But! But! I don't
want to go with Asuka, she'll kill me if I ask her!"
Without looking at him,
she replied.
"the Commander has
already sent special section 2 agents to supervise you completing your
order."
"But!!"
"also, you should move
your head."
"Huh?"
Suddenly, something hard
connected to his skull, most likely a lunch box, which knocked the poor
rejected boy to the ground.
"BAKA-SHINJI!!! GET
YOUR ASS OVER HERE RIGHT NOW AND GET YOUR PERVERT IDIOT FRIENDS OUT OF THE
BOY'S TOLIOT, MOVE! MOVE! MOVE!"
"Owie."
Was the great one's
reply.
Rei only continued to
read.
"I hate my
life..." mumbled the Third.
"BAKA-SHINJI!!!!!!!!"
