~The Walk~

I looked out across the salty sea
And felt the sand between my toes
My love stood beside me
As we watched the setting sun
I looked to him
I knew his expression
That loving look
His Deep Blue Eyes
His soft smile
I trembled at his tender touch
He smiled, and we began to walk
He held my heart
I only hoped I held his
I glanced to the Sandy Shore
Watching the timeless tide
My thoughts Drifted
Only he and I existed
Upon this beautiful beach
Covered in Sand and Small Shells
The World was our own
I remember, he stopped me
He looked to the starry sky
I did the same
And as he pulled out a red rose
I saw a shooting Star
And Made a Wish
He Placed the Rose in my hair
And As if mezmorized by his eyes
I heard the whispering wind say "kiss him"
I did.
And I continued to wish
This night
Could last Forever
