Author's notes: This just came to me this morning as I was lying in bed still half asleep, it's set waaaay waaay in the future after Logan & Max have gotten together (cuz u know they will!!) and Logan isn't in the chair anymore.
P.S. Please bear with me if it sounds OOC, I've only seen 3 eps of Dark Angel cuz I don't have FOX.

Sunday, Rainy Sunday

"So what's up? You called me over?" Max queried as Logan led her into his penthouse apartment, brushing the rainwater off her black leather jacket.

"Oh I just thought," he paused to divest her of her jacket, throwing it over the back of a chair and grabbing up a towel. "We'd engage in a little pre-pulse ritual of spending a rainy Sunday in bed with the one you love," he murmured huskily into the X-5's ear causing her to shiver suddenly at his warm breath caressing her neck and cheek as he gently ruffled her dark hair dry with the fluffy white towel.

"Oh, so this is a bootie call then." She deduced with a slow grin as she allowed Logan to walk them towards the bedroom.

"Well, I wouldn't put it just that way." Logan smiled, urging her to sit on the edge of the bed, unlacing her boots and sliding them off her feet once she had, running his fingers up her sock covered soles.

"And what way would you put it then, Mr. Eyes Only?" She questioned teasingly, scooting over on the bed to give him room.

"I'd put it as, I missed you, and I love you, and my bed's far too big for me alone." He said softly, prefacing each 'and' with a light kiss to the back of her neck smoothly sliding into bed behind Max, wrapping an arm around her waist to pull her snugly back against him. He slid a leg in between hers and buried his nose in her hair as she cuddled back against him sighing contentedly. The two settled in together, staring out his huge floor to ceiling windows at the falling Seattle rain until they were lulled into a peaceful sleep by its soothing rhythm.
