((DESPITE what the title will most likely make you think, this has nothing at all to do with "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon". The Monkey refers to Zidane (Readers: WELL DUH!) and the Salamander refers to Amarant (whom from what I've read, is called Salamander in Japan) and this is what I think their fight would be like if it was a very, very LONG FMV or Anime Cut Scene. Enjoy. Oh, and if you don't review, I shall cold cock you with this salmon and let Quina eat you.)) ((I'm going on the assumption you know WHY these 2 are fighting, and even though you wouldn;t know his name yet if your playing the game, I'm going to refer to Amarant as Amarant, and not "Guy with yarn for hair"))
Zidane brought the Exploda into a defensive stance, as he looked for a weakness in his opponent. Amarant broughts his claw to ready position, and dashed at Zidane. Zidnae, amazed by the speed of his opponent, was just barely able to block the attack. Amarant jumped backwards. While he was in the air, he threw down several Gil, that struck Zidane in the chest. Zidane felt like he had just been stung by 50 wasps. Amarant decided to gof or the kill now, and swung his claw downward. Zidane moved back some, but felt the sharp metal claws tear at his chest.
"SOUL BLADE" yelled Zidane, as he used some of his energy to blind Amarant for a minute. Amarant backed off, blindly searching for his eye drops. Zidane dropped to one knee, and took a potion out. he drank it, and let it speed up his ability to recover. In a few seconds, his wound had closed. At the same time, Amarant had cured his blindness.
Zidane ran at his opponent just as Amarant turned. Amarant threw Gil at Zidnae, but Zidane ignored the pain and slammed into Amarant. Amarant responded with a knee to the gut, followed by a slash to the face. Zidane fell back, in great pain, yet he ahd this annoying smirk on his face. Amarant decided to finish Zidnae off with another Gil Throw. He reached for his bag of Gil, but noticed it was gone. "How the....you." said Amarant, glaring at Zidane. Zidnae held up the bag of Gil, and threw it away. Amarant growled, and launched himself at Zidane, claw aiming for his heart. Zidnae easily parried the blow and punched him in the face, and then, to add insult to injury, slapped him with his tail.
Amarant was enraged. "Demi Shock!" yelled Amarant, using somthing that almost seemed to be Black Magic to deal critical damage to Zidane. Zidnae fell to his knees, gasping for air. He forced himself back to his feet. amarant spit on Zidane, and drove his claw thru the young thief. Zidnae could only take so much pain, and he screamed. Zidane raised both hsi feet and kicked amarant in the chest, propeeling himself off the claws, and leaving a bloody trial behind him. Amarant smiled evily. He prepared to finish off Zidane with another Demi Shock.
Suddenly,energy crackled around Zidane, and he entered Trance. Fidning the pwoer to stand up stright. Zidane gather all his power. "SOLUTION 9!" yelled Zidane, as the strongest Dyne that Zidane could use started to weaken Amarant. After it was done, only Zidane was still standing.
