In the episode, The Mirror, Elisa and then all of Manhattan were turned into gargoyles but quickly turned back before the night was over. What if everything did not end as swiftly though changes here and there prevent the battle & conclusion from happening before the sunrise. Thus while the majority of Manhattan is reverted a small group of others and Elisa are not changed back

This is for my mental health concerning the rise of mass shootings and lack of gun control. I'm using this story as a therapeutic tool to deal with my feelings on the subject. So don't bash me if you disagree with me. But, again, I'm just trying to work through my own emotions. Anyway, enjoy the modern-day AU where everyone is human!
