Upon belatedly discovering they have been invited to their own wedding anniversary in the Cat Kingdom, Haru and Baron agree to impersonate a married couple so that King Lune and Queen Yuki can save face. It should be simple – after all, it's only for the one day… right?

Written for the TCR Secret Santa 2020. The Cat Kingdom is hosting a Christmas Ball, and Haru and the Bureau are invited. But Haru can't dance. So Baron teaches her how to waltz so they can dance the first song at the event. A happy fluffy story.

He missed out on a lot of cardinal priming for his eventual position. Now unofficially under his advisor's discreet tutelage, the new Cat King can't quite say he's sorry to have never been forced to learn the finicky etiquette surrounding a proper meal… but a bowl of homemade soup for his trouble isn't that bad a motivator. Young! Cat King and Natori, lots of headcanons.

Honestly, if he'd wanted to spend an entire evening traversing a bizarre, grainy landscape with only a well-loved duster for company, he would have just had Natori hook up the ol' PS1 again and pop in the Lovely Sweet Dream. (A little odd. Some definite hints at some Feelings between the Cat King and Natori, but nothing explicit.)
