Jesse's head is wrecking havoc on his emotions after Hillview. Brennan sees this. Will Jesse let him in? In my opinion, the ending of the episode didn't adequately deal with the emotional baggage that HAD to be going on! Characters probably not true to form as I'm a sucker for brotherly comfort whump :-) And as stated, emotional baggage so swearing.involved. Rated M to be safe

A reimagining of season one, from the perspective of Mason Eckhart.

A mysterious girl shows up on the scene that the team bump into one night. There's just something there that grabs the teams' attention but they can't explain it. Just who is this girl and what is her connection to the team and one of them personally?

Mason has some dark thoughts after receiving a sinister prediction from a precognitive New Mutant.

Shalimar's pretty sure she's supposed to be too old to be having a queer crisis, but there's just something about Emma... So it seems like something of a blessing when her feral nature takes what should be a run of the mill attraction to Richard Saunders and turns it up to eleven. After all, she doesn't have to examine her feelings for Emma if she's busy not thinking with Richard.

Adam send Shalimar and Brennan to save two young new mutants but something happens before they reach their destination. BS

On the eve of Christmas, Mason Eckhart is visited by three ghosts, or is it four? A certain group of New Mutants may be involved. Also Adam has a very unusual Christmas tradition.

There is absolutely no way that Mason is jealous of Adam. No matter what anyone might say. Nonetheless, he reminisces about their first meeting. But still not jealous.

Some time in the 80s, Adam secretly helps a New Mutant gain control of her powers. But someone has been watching him for a while.

What happens at Genomex after the lights go out at the end of S01E08 "In the Presence of Mine Enemies".

After rescuing a lab full of new mutants, the team must figure out what experiments were being done in order to save one of their own... Jesse centric but whole team and several OCs are there.

"The real torture wasn't what was being physically done to him...it was the feeling of betrayal and grief. The humiliation and anger…. It was the fact he had called this man a friend..."
