Kozmotis Pitchiner is retired from the military, and now he just wants to spend the time he can with his teenaged daughter, while making a living as the occasional local handyman. But things start to get strange. Kozmotis has strange dreams about black horses, of a woman who may or may not be his daughter, and a strange feeling that things in reality are not quite as they should be

As the Golden Age is threatened by a growing darkness, General Kozmotis Pitchiner finds himself the caretaker of one extremely unpredictable Comet, Jack Frost.

Jack has never fit in with the rest of the Guardians. It's not that either party didn't try, he just didn't. Bunny starts saying some stuff the other Guardians slowly start agreeing. Jack flys off and gets caught in a snowstorm that he didn't make. It takes him to a whole other universe. What does he make of the different version of the Guardians?

Things have been quiet for a few years now, and the Guardians feel content once again. However, Ombric reports of an escaped monster, and Aster claims that something with a Pookan face has stolen his relic and disappeared into a strange portal.
