"Hey, Weasley, wait!"
I didn't stop.I had just finished the breakfast and was on my way back to the Gryffindor tower. I wouldn't let him ruin my Sunday.
"Wait, please!"
I kept on going. Then I heard running and suddenly he stood before me, panting.
"Please!"
"What do you want, Malfoy?" I snapped.
"Um… Can I talk to you… er… I need a little help…"
Was he red from running or because of what he said?
"From me? Why don't you ask a Slytherin?"
"They couldn't help me. Actually, I think they wouldn't help me."
"So what is this all about?"
I was going to be interested in whatever his problem was.
"A girl…"
That definitely wasn't from the running… "She's not a Slytherin, right? That's why they wouldn't help you!"
"Well… yes. So, could you help me, Weasley?"
"First, you should stop calling people by their last names!" I had my own demands too.
"Okay… er… Ginny!"
"Okay… er… Draco!"
It felt different to say his first name. To talk to him as a kind of a friend. I almost wished I could be this girl.
"She's always on my mind… in my thoughts…" He seemed not to know what to say. "I tried to forget her, but I couldn't. I tried to get rid of her, but I couldn't. She's still on my mind."
He took a short pause, then moved on.
"My father tried to get rid of her. When I found out, I had to hold myself back from using the unforgivable curses on him… I just don't know what to do!"
I was falling. Falling for Draco Malfoy. I couldn't believe it. But he had someone else. And if I couldn't be the one he loved, he had at least to get the one he wanted. I just wished that he would be happy.
"Try to talk to her," I advised. "Or do something unexpected, surprise her!"
"How?" he asked.
I though about it. What would I like to be surprised with?
"What about surprising her with a kiss?" I finally suggested.
"That could do it! Thanks!"
He was going to leave. I started walking towards the Gryffindor towerwith mixed feelings.
"Hey, Ginny, wait!"
He was calling me again.
"Wha…"
'What now?' I was going to ask, but was interrupted with a kiss…
