CAN NOT

I cannot See
I can not hear
I can not even breathe
And yet I live…or at least exist
I can not feel my heart beat
I can not feel my clothes against my skin
I can not even feel the ice surrounding me
Closing in on me
Yet I can….
Hear the screams of the tortured, the damned, echoing in my mind
I am alone
With madness, pain and fear
I can not hang onto my sanity
And I want to, have to, but
I can not scream
