Getting a rare chance to unwind in a quiet corner of the Beacon library, Team RWBY and Dungeon Master Jaune make their first attempt at a long-running weekly game night. Characters built and dice polished, they're ready to roll. [Story marked T for action in combat and the possibility that I might make a character swear. It hasn't happened yet.]

Jaune Arc is the defender of a faraway world but had fallen against an insurmountable foe. When all hope seemed lost he was given a chance at doing it all again to save those he loved and find his way back home to Remnant. However this chance came at a heavy price. With no other choice, he accepts and lives again.

When a care package arrives for Jaune from home, he's surprised to find all of his books and minis for D&D stored within. Despite the teasing from Team RWBY, Nora, Pyrrha, and Ren share an honest and curious interest about the game itself. Reluctant at first, he decides it can't hurt to have an activity for the team to bond over. Get ready Team Juniper for D&D Game Night!

There are those who dislike the way things are within their world and work to change it. They are often called the Simpler Souls.
