Anomen's Prayer
Gracious Helm, Mighty Judge and Watchful Eye, you are ever vigilant and all-knowing.
Too long have I wandered in darkness, my heart corrupt and unforgiving. Aid me. Guide me to your light. Let me walk by your side as I right the wrongs I myself have brought into being. And let those that I have wronged forgive me—even in death: Moira, my father, the Knights of the Order and Nailynn. Yes, most of all Nailynn, the Bhaal Child I unjustly abandoned on more than one occasion. Help her to see that my love for her is still pure and strong, and give her the patience she will need until I return home…until I understand. And when I leave this place, Vigilant One, and return to Amn, guide the Disciples beneath your mighty Fist that they may never stray from your doctrines—those that, through teaching them, I have come to fully comprehend and believe.
