The Star That Shined Ever So Brightly: Chapter 1
It was 7:30am in Japan on Wednesday morning, and the sun was warm and bright. "Hey everyone!" It was Sakura from the right side of the classroom. As usual, she wasn't that early unless she was told to, but not earlier than Li of course. "Hey Sakura!" Madison, who sat six desks from where Sakura was standing. From Madison's left side was Sakura's desk, and behind hers was Li's, like the usual he always blushed when he sees her. Meilin sat behind Madison, which was the right side of Li's desk and also greeted morning. ~*After trusting Sakura a bit*~ After they greeted each other, Sakura made her way to her desk. "So, who's our substitute teacher?" As Sakura put her backpack, took off her hat, and sat down in her seat. Madison shrugged her shoulders, "Don't know, ~*Smiles*~ we'll see soon enough." The far up right corner door opened, everyone looked to see. Then the woman stepped into the classroom. Sakura then gasped, "Huh? Ms. McKenzie?!" Then her eyes widened. "Hm…" A voice from behind past through her ears. "Huh?" Sakura turned her head and looked back at Li. "What's wrong Li?" She asked. "There's just something I don't quite trust in that woman. He replied. Sakura looked back at Ms. McKenzie and saw the dream again. "~*In her mind*~ There something that the dream is trying to tell me, but what?" Then she looked at Ms. McKenzie. "Okay class, today we have a new exchange student. Please welcome Eriol Hiiragizawa." Eriol opened the door and walked in front of the class. Then Sakura tilted her chair towards Madison and whispered. "Um…doesn't it seem like he is starring at you Madison?" Madison shifted one eyebrow down, and the other went up. "Yeah I know. It's like the time Li first came. Except…he doesn't look like he's going to tear you apart or something." As Sakura tilted her chair the way it was before. Ms. McKenzie lifted her finger and pointed to the empty desk next to Madison. "Eriol, you can sit next to Madison. Right there!" Eriol started to make his way to this desk; Madison realized that he was looking straight at her. "Ugh…" It was a little nervous for her to look at him straight in the eye, so she slightly titled her head down to face her desk. Finally Eriol was standing right next to her, and then he smiled and sat down. She glanced at him quickly and thought, "He doesn't seem so mean…he looks calm, and so peaceful, "Madison shook her head and tried wiping away the thoughts. It took some time until she was finally able to lift her head up again and look to the front where Ms. McKenzie was standing.
~*After School*~
Madison ran out of the school as fast as she could, trying to avoid seeing Eriol again. On the other hand, Sakura had to put her pads on. "Hey! Wait up Madison!" Madison was such in a hurry, she practically forgot about Sakura. "Huh?" She looked back at who was calling her; it was sure a familiar voice. "Oh, sorry about that Sakura…" Madison closed her eyes and gave Sakura a smile. "That's okay." As Sakura roller bladed closer to Madison.
Sakura noticed something a little strange about Madison. She had one too many thoughts and couldn't quite get what it was. Finally, they were in front of Sakura's house. "Well, here I am!" Then she started walking towards her house and opening the front gate. "Bye Madison…" "By Sakura, see you tomorrow!" Sakura watched helplessly as Madison slowly began walking away. Worried and not knowing what she could do.
Author's Note: Well, that's the end of chapter 1! Believe it or not, I wrote this chapter when sleeping at night. Right now it's 12:34pm and there's lighting flashing from my sisters room, which diagonally is across from my room. But no rain. And I'm heating too! Don't ask why I am writing this, not even related to the topic. Oh well, enjoy the story and good night! -_- ~*Gonna proof read before sleeping!*~
