I wanted to tell you something
But you never listened to me
So I kept my secret hidden
Deep inside of me

I watch hidden from a distance
As you play with the new boys
They're wrapped around your finger
Not knowing they're your toys

And then that boy walked in
The blonde who had everything
You two were so eternally perfect
Fitting together like queen and king

I didn't have the heart to mess things up
The perfect romance deserved to live
Meanwhile I watched from the sidelines
With nothing but my love to give
