I wrote this only at Hika-chan's request. Normally I'd never go near a Koumi (Koushari forever!!), but I did tell her she could request a fic...
Anyway, I hope you like the poem, and if you can figure out who wrote it... tell me! I'd like to know, myself... ^_^;;
"A Lover's Loss"
The Angel of Sincerity,
She of the gracious heart,
Her eyes, they shine with clarity,
That plea to never be apart.
The Guardian of Knowledge,
From who's task he'd never strayed,
Now paid her grateful homage,
That she hadn't gotten away.
The blissful shining happiness
They shared, I should rejoice,
That one I loved would never miss
Sweet sound of lover's voice.
Yet, logic could not my heart persuade,
Nor heart my mouth to carry through
For me to whisper through the shade,
My crying, "I love you..."
To stay in sorrowed sadness,
I fear must be my place,
For one I had so longed to kiss
Now stroked another's face.
To you my woeful little tale
May seem a spiteful cry,
But my quiet love's no fling,
'Tis only I, I wish would die.
