Someone asked for a kid-friendly story, so I'm gonna do multiple. You're welcome, my sir.

Meta Knight hummed to himself as he cleaned Galaxia with a cloth.

The golden sword of legend may have been very powerful in battle, but even mythical swords need a good cleaning every now and then.

So was his logic as he sat against a wall in the Smash Mansion, not really in the mood to battle at the moment. He was content to sit in peace.

So, of course, it had to be interrupted by a cheerful "Pi Pichu Pichuuu!"

Meta Knight flinched. The high-pitched voice had come from his right, and he looked in that direction to see none other than Pichu standing there. The Tiny Mouse Pokémon's face was dominated by a huge smile, and his tail twitched with excitement.

Meta Knight sighed. "Hello, Pichu."

The small knight and the Pokémon were not friends. They were merely acquaintances. Unfortunately, Pichu didn't seem to see it that way.

"Pichu?" he said questioningly. Meta Knight didn't understand what he said, but judging by the tilt of his head, he got the message.

"Oh, I'm simply cleaning my sword," he said, keeping his voice neutral.

"Pichu…" the other Fighter whispered in awe, his eyes glued to the now-shiny blade.

Before Meta Knight could even consider the implications of his reaction, Pichu lunged forward with a Quick Attack, snatching the sword from Meta Knight's hand and reappearing close to Meta Knight's left, leaving the swordsman shocked and sword-less.

"Pichu, what is the meaning of this!?" he cried, quickly jumping to his feet (which did not increase his height by much). "Give me–"

"Piiii," Pichu said, raising the sword above his head.

"Chu!"

The sword came down and–

SHING!

Meta Knight's mask was split in half.

"MY MASK!" he yelped. His trademark mask fell to the ground, now evenly divided into two clean halves. Only a sword such as Galaxia would've had the sharpness and durability to cut through a steel mask like that.

"Pichu…" Meta Knight growled, his voice just as sharp as Galaxia's edge. "Give me my sword."

"Now."

Pichu didn't seem to care about his change in mood. He danced around with Galaxia in hand, calling, "Pichu, Pichu, Pichu, Pichu!"

"THAT'S IT!" Meta Knight shouted. He spread his wings and flapped them to hover in the air. "COME HERE!"

The Tiny Mouse Pokémon only giggled. "Pichu!" he called.

Then he fled.

Meta Knight unleashed a roar of rage and chased after him.

"YOU CAN'T RUN FROM ME!" he shouted as he rounded a corner.

It was true. The masked Fighter was slowly gaining on Pichu, who was running on all fours with the sword in his mouth.

He turned his head and called, "Pichu!"

And when he turned his head to look forward again–

FRRP!

There was now a massive gash on the back of Peach's dress, who had been walking down the hall.

Pichu screamed. The Pokémon dropped Galaxia and used Quick Attack to zing over Meta Knight, who was right behind him at the time, and ran back the way he came. Meta Knight flew over to Galaxia and snatched it off the ground.

He was about to breathe a huge sigh of relief when he heard Peach scream, "My dress!"

It was then that he assessed the situation. Peach was looking down in horror at the gash on the backside of her dress, which was level with her shins. No doubt that Pichu had accidentally done that. Unfortunately, Meta Knight was the one holding the sword, which is what Peach saw when she looked behind herself.

Her expression changed to one of anger. The princess quickly knelt down and pulled a Turnip out of the ground.

It was a Stitch Face Turnip.

"Oh, Nova," Meta Knight said to himself.

Peach screamed, not unlike how Meta Knight screamed when Pichu ran off with Galaxia, and lunged at him with the Stitch Face Turnip in hand.

Not seeing another alternative, Meta Knight ran.

"AHH!" he shouted as he flew, maskless, back down the hall.

"COME BACK HERE, YOU BLUEBERRY!" Peach shouted after him.

Nothing is more terrifying than a Peach just standing there, with either a Stitch Face Turnip or a Bob-omb in hand.
