As I'm returning to write fanfiction once more, I feel that I want to re-re-write one of my stories. I wanted the story 'Find Me' to be an impactful story to all my readers and as I've left that story in the dust, I find that people actually really liked that story. So, here I am rewriting this story for the second time. This is a story that contains bullying, self-harm, and attempted suicide. Lila Rossi is the villain here. She will be sent to jail in this fanfiction. I'm not sure who I'll be shipping in this. There will be multiple points of view in this story. This,~҉~҉~҉~҉ Scene Change ~҉~҉~҉~҉ indicates a scene/character pov change. For returning readers who read my work, you will notice that this is greatly similar to the story called 'Forget'. This story takes place in S3 where Lila Rossi was more present.

It was so stupid of her to believe that her friends were better than this. It was so stupid of her to take the high road to avoid Lila getting hurt. Hah. That blond model she called her friend really didn't have a clue what she was going through every day. It had been what? Almost four months since Lila had come back from Hero's Day and made her life a living nightmare because she went against what Lila said?

Marinette was taking the high road just as Adrien had asked of her. 'As long as we know she's lying, does it really matter?' If he saw her now, would he be saying that? Because it wasn't fair how she was the only one suffering from Lila's lies. Did it even matter to her best friend or who she used to call her best friend that she was breaking down each night because of Lila?

Why did Alya give Lila her personal phone number? There was no way in hell that the bluenette could ever be friends with someone like her. If Alya knew what Lila said to her each night, maybe something could change. But who would even listen to her?

.

The following is a text thread between Lila Rossi and Marinette Dupain-Cheng. Viewer discretion is advised. In Marinette's phone, she had Lila labeled as 'Liar'.

Liar: I was surprised to see you at school today. I'm even more surprised to know you're still alive. Haven't I told you to go kill yourself? Do I have to remind you that Alya is my best friend and not yours again? As long as you keep calling out my lies, Marinette, I'll continue making your life a living Hell. You haven't even learned yet. I feel sorry for you.

Liar: Sike.

Marinette: You may have my friends wrapped around your finger, but I don't think I will be the one to expose your lies.

Liar: Is that a threat? Oh, wait. You can't make any threats against me. Everyone believes me over you. Everyone believes that I'm the one getting bullied and harassed by you. Why don't you stop trying? I won't ever get caught.

Marinette: You keep saying that. I get it.

Liar: Good. Now do me a favor. Don't bother showing up to school tomorrow.

Tikki was doing her best to keep Marinette safe. The first time the kwami of creation had to prevent Marinette from self-harming was a devastating time for both of them. At least Marinette wasn't suicidal then. But now, she found it more difficult to talk Marinette down from self-harming herself. In the mornings she found suicide notes all written to her friends. Alya, Adrien, Nino, Rose, Juleka, Luka, etc. Even Chat Noir. Tikki didn't want to lose Marinette to something as awful as this.

She couldn't stand that her chosen was getting bullied. It shocked her how there were people like Lila who existed in this world. People like Lila who get easily get away with just about anything because everyone liked what they were hearing. Why did the good people have to suffer? In this world, it was like the good people had to compete just so someone or anyone would listen to them. And to Tikki, that was utter bullshit.

The least she could do for Marinette was try and talk her out of these things, but it didn't always work. She followed her chosen's orders when she asked to be alone. The first time she saw her chosen the next morning, there were fresh cuts along both of her arms. That first time Marinette had done that to herself, Tikki begged Marinette to wrap those up. The little kwami would even help her clean and wrap her wrists.

Marinette insisted against it. She was going to go to school with a long-sleeved shirt. Which besides, who was going to notice her change in fashion? Maybe Chloe. Or Luka. But Luka didn't even attend the school she attended unless it was the after-school art class because of Kitty Section.

The bluenette smiled weakly. She wasn't going to let Lila win even though that girl's words were cutting her deeper than a knife. Quite literally actually. She looked down at her forearms. That's where she cut herself the most. Anywhere else like her legs, she just couldn't bring herself to put herself through that kind of pain. She clenched both of her fists.

She was going to live another day. She was willing to try.

Anyways, as for her parents, she felt that she really did not deserve them. They knew something was up. Both of her parents told her that they were there for her no matter what and that if she needed to talk, they would drop everything just for her.

She felt like a burden to them.

Marinette no longer hung out with Alya, Rose, Juleka, Mylene, or Alix. She didn't hang out with anyone in her class. The bluenette couldn't bear the dirty looks in her class and the hurtful words that were hurled at her if she even said anything. There was something that surprised her. She hadn't been akumatized yet.

She was a burden to Tikki. Tikki was doing so much for her and what was she doing for her in return? Absolutely nothing. See? She was useless to her. Maybe a new Ladybug would suffice. Sure Tikki would be sad, but the kwami of creation was old. Older than her parents. Older than Master Fu. She'd get over her death eventually.

The bluenette sat in one of the bathroom stalls of the girls' bathroom. This was the only place where she could cry her eyes out. The only place where she didn't have to cry in front of her peers. In front of Adrien. She uncurled her hands and placed them on her lap. Letting out a shaky breath, she dug her fingernails into her pink pants. She tried to hold back her tears.

Lila had done it again. She had done her crocodile tear act in front of her classmates about something Marinette apparently did and did something else horrible. She practically told Adrien about Marinette's crush on him.

Her classmates commented on how creepy she was. How she should be going to jail right now because she had was obsessed with him.

Alya. She trusted her. How could she? What had she done to her to have her secrets get exposed like that? She trusted Alya and she never expected her to ever tell someone like Lila about something personal like that.

No one understood her. If she was crazy as they all said, then they would have been really happy to know that she was done with all of them. Marinette made up her mind. She brought her hands up to her earrings.

"No, wait-" a small voice protested.

The long-held back tears she had, she let them flow freely, "I'm sorry.." she said quietly. Marinette gently set her earrings on her back. A soft smile graced her lips. She took out her phone from her bag and began to text everyone she had in her contacts. Once she was finished, she slipped her phone back into her crossbody bag.

Marinette slowly walked out of the girls' restroom. With her head held high, she still smiled. She could have transformed one last time and wished that silly cat hero goodbye, but she just couldn't take it anymore. Her body trembles as she makes her way towards the roof of the school. She pulled out a small silver razor from her bag.

The young teen pressed into her skin. At this point, she had gotten used to the sharp pain. But now, she felt nothing. And the only way she felt she was going to relieve this pain was by doing what Lila told her to do numerous times.

She jumped and let herself fall. A smile still graced her lips. She closed her eyes. The world didn't seem so cruel anymore. There was just one thing she didn't hear. Her name being called.
