It's a beautiful day in Gotham City, and at the Gotham City international airport Control agents 86 Maxwell Smart and his partner 99 are escorting scientist Doctor Arthur Feldon to Washington DC. They are waiting for their connecting flight
"Well 99 we have two hours before our plane arrives." Said Max looking at his watch
"We have to get the Doctor to Washington by tonight." Said 99
"I have to prepare for my testimony before the Department of Defense tomorrow." Said Doctor Feldon
"Don't worry Doctor once we get to Washington, we will escort you to your hotel where you'll be guarded until tomorrow morning," said Max
"Max, you better check in with the Chief." 99 suggested
Max goes over to the telephone booth, he sees that it's empty and goes inside, but instead of using the telephone in the booth, he takes off his shoe which contains a secret telephone
"Chief it's Max, 99 and I have arrived in Gotham city from Boston. We're waiting for our connection flight to Washington. We should have the Doctor there by tonight." Said Max speaking into the shoe phone
"Good Max, it's very important that the Doctor makes it to Washington. Call me when you land in Washington." Said Chief
"Yes Chief." Said Max as he hangs up and puts the shoe back on. He goes back over to 99 and Doctor Feldon
"You know Max being in Gotham City makes me think of the strange things I read about this city.' Said 99
"Well 99 I'm sure Gotham city is a perfectly normal American city." Said Max trying to assure her
"It's also the home of Batman." Said 99 as her face lights up
"I don't get the appeal of a man who dresses up like bat." Said Max
"Batman is one of the top crime fighters in the world." said 99
"Well, who am I chop liver?" Max asked sarcastically
"Of course, not Max no one can hold a candle to you." Said 99
"Thanks 99. Well, we've been in Gotham city for ten minutes and nothing unusual has happened." Said Max
Suddenly a man dressed up as the Easter Bunny walks over to them, he was carrying an Easter basket with eggs
"Look 99 it's the Easter bunny." Said Max excited
"Max, today's not Easter." Said 99
The Bunny takes one of the eggs and throws it on the ground causing a fog of smoke. Two men grab Doctor Feldon and quickly exits the airport to a waiting van. Inside the van the Bunny takes off his head revealing Egghead
"Eggxcelllent, let's go" he said using an egg pun
Back inside the airport the smoke clears and Doctor Feldon was gone, Max takes out his shoe phone calls the Chief
"Chief it's Max again, I'm afraid we have a problem." Said Max
Moments later at the Gotham City Police Headquarters Commissioner Gordon was there with Chief O'Hara. Chief O'Hara was telling Gordon about events at the Airport
"Easter Bunny and exploding eggs that can only be one man." Said Gordon
"Saints alive Commissioner you don't mean who I think you mean?" O'Hara asked
"Yes, Chief O'Hara the rottenest egg of them all Egghead. And there's only one man who can stop that evil genius." Said Gordon as he walks over to the red Bat phone enclosed inside a glass case.
At stately Wayne Manor home of Millionaire Bruce Wayne and his youthful Ward Dick Grayson, Bruce and Dick are getting ready to go to movies with Aunt Harriet. The three of them were getting ready
"I can't wait to see the new James bond movie." Said Dick
"Oh yes that Sean Connery is so handsome and dreamy." Said Aunt Harriet smitten over the actor
"The movie should be very good." Said Bruce
Alfred the Butler walks over to Bruce and whispers in his ear "It's the Bat phone sir"
"It appears that I can't find the tickets, Dick why don't help me look for them." said Bruce coming up with excuse to leave the room. They go into the study and Bruce takes the phone
"Yes Commissioner?" Bruce asked
"It's Egghead." Gordon responded
"Him again!" said Dick
Bruce hangs up the phone and goes to lift the head of the Shakespeare bust on the table and pushes the button that opens the secret entrance to the Bat cave. They run to the Bat poles and change into Batman and Robin. They run to Batmobile and get in as speeds off heading to Gotham City.
