Heya! I'm just going to make an important note here:
1) I write these for fun and kinda spitball with it.
2) As I said before, I write these for fun! Nothing is to be taken too seriously.
3) I can be random at times and I do cuss. Don't worry, I don't cuss excessively.
4) If you would like to use one of my ideas, I don't mind as long as you ask first. Messaging me directly about it is fine. Also, I would like to be referenced if you do- ; - ;
5) I don't write the entirety of my ideas (sometimes). Why? Just in case someone uses an idea and writes a story with it. (I'm a remnant who says, "No spoilers!") If you message me about using an idea, I can share some of the other thoughts I had in mind. That is, if you want me to.
6) The guidelines kinda scared me so... hopefully, my grammar is decent.
7) Sometimes I use emoticons. One of my most frequently used is a crying face; It looks like this "ToT."
8) I'll try to refrain from typing "and or." Usually, I'd place a slash in between, but slashes don't show up on the app. But if I do type "and or" you know there's supposed to be a slash there.
9) That's pretty much it so... Oh, wait- I can't indent...? Oh well, ooof- ToT
There's a new game out called "The Quarry." Have you heard of it? I enjoyed it and thought it was pretty cool. :) In fact, it inspired this idea!
Now, onto it then...
What if Lloyd's dad died not too long ago (maybe a year or two)? Let's say he was a police officer and died because of a case he was involved in. His mysterious past could have something to do with his death, too.
So, Lloyd is in high school, and it's been awhile since his father's death. He's doing.. okay. He's got a crush on Haroomroom, he's friends with the gang, and his grades are good. But life becomes weird when Lloyd starts.. seeing and hearing things again. At first, he notices certain objects out of place. Then some of his items go missing (he was even... pranked once?). Recently, he even heard a voice! But it's okay because it's totally nothing and ghosts aren't real! :DDDD
The invisible (?) emo floating in the Garmadon family living room would beg to differ-
It gets worse. Lloyd even gets to the point where he sees... the thing that isn't a ghost. But he continues to ignore its presence even when they try to communicate with him.
It's uh... early-ish fall (?) and the school is having a field trip where the class goes camping. Maybe it's some type of friendly school tradition?
Lloyd decides to go. Maybe a nice change in scenery would help him clear his mind. And it's not like the thing that's-not-a-ghost would be there, right? Besides, the rest of his friends are going, and so is his crush, Harumi—so, why not?
As most would guess, this won't be a normal field trip.
It turns out that a good percentage of the student body are a part of an evil cult. No one on this field trip is safe, and no one is to be trusted either.
There are several imposters, sacrifices, and rituals. It's a lose-lose situation for any innocent person there. If you try to escape, they'll kill you, and if you don't do anything, you'll still die. This field trip isn't a coincidence.
The evil cult's members aren't normal either. They have impossible powers that most average people wouldn't be able to escape. But Lloyd's lucky cuz he's got a ghost haunting him! :DDD
... Okay, now that I've typed that out and read it back, that doesn't sound like a very lucky situation, lmfao-
When Lloyd's ghostly follower saves him from being killed, Lloyd reconsiders his attitude towards the green spirit. It's a good thing this time, Lloyd decides to listen. Because what the ghost's got to say might just save the remaining lives at camp.
I don't know much about field trips; I haven't been on one in years. I also don't know about camping and living in cabins. ToT I'm not sure which season is best for camping either, but I keep imagining this idea taking place during the fall.
The lights in my house flickered while I was writing this... Well, that isn't creepy. :'D
