Author's notes

Hi! This is my first ongoing multi-chapter fic as well as my first fic for the Loud House Community, I've always sort of wished to make a fic about this cute but extremely unlikely pairing since it's the only Loudcest ship that makes sense in my head, so it's mostly a headcannon of how things would go if Lola and Lincoln found a reason to be closer together and released their inhibitions.

Warnings: This is a brother x sister incest fic that will be treating the subject seriously and with the respect that it deserves, so it will feature angst and drama, potentially a bittersweet ending as well, there is also an age difference dynamic at play, which may or may not be considered pedophilia at some point. As always, if the subject disgusts and/or terrifies you, you're free to stop reading.

Disclaimer: I don't own The Loud House, the brand, as well as all of its characters and settings belong to Chris Savino and Nickelodeon, all rights reserved.

The Princess and the space cowboy.

Prologue.

- Lincoln! Get your butt over here RIGHT NOW! – Yells an agitated 7 year old blonde girl in the hallway of the Loud residence.

- Yeesh Lola, I heard you once! – Responds an annoyed 12 year old white haired boy who was just passing by the room that belongs to the Twins, Lana and Lola Loud, on the way to his own room right next to theirs.

- Can you please EXPLAIN to me why my beautiful tea table is plastered with your stupid magazines!? – accuses the angry princess of the house as her older brother confronts her defensively to her ignorant statement.

- First off, they are not "magazines" Lola, They are very-hard-to-find 1st edition comics of the adventures of the incredible Ace Savvy spin-off series! Second off, I have no idea why my comics are here either! I mean, have you even seen Lana anywhere? Maybe ask her next time and, if you excuse me, I'll be taking my possessions back to my room – The albino retorts conclusively as he proceeds to return to his own room.

But Lola suddenly grabs Lincolns arm with a tight grip, startling the white haired boy as he almost let's go of the magazines that he was holding.

- Not so FAST Lincoln! You are not getting off that easily, because your stupid "comics" – she says with sheer sarcasm and contempt in her voice - or whatever CRUSHED MY INCREDIBLY EXPENSIVE TEA POT! So I don't care if you or Lana messed with my sacred place, but your stuff is in it and you're going to STAY WITH ME HERE AND FIX IT! – she accentuates this last sentence, causing the walls to quake at the power of her voice and instilling intimidation on her 5 year older brother.

Her brother's response was something that she, in her entire spoiled 7 year old life, had never even been taught to anticipate, an incredibly short answer, that had a very deeper meaning inside, as she would soon find out.

- No – calmly answered the 12 year old boy, as he prepared himself to once again leave the room, and the angry spoiled princess, behind.

- W-what!? Wait, WHERE DO YOU THINK YOU ARE GOING!? – loudly yelled the agitated princess as a wave of disbelief and anger flooded through her whole being, tightening her already strong grasp on the boy's shirt.

- I said, I'm going to my room, now if you would please be so kind as to stop grabbing my arm and LEAVE ME ALONE! – snaps the albino for the first time in an even louder and menacing tone, instilling fear in the once angry sister and forcing her to release her grasp on his arm – That would be much appreciated.. – he continued in a much calmer, if sarcastic tone.

Following the initial shock of having her brother YELL at her for the first time in his life, Lola simply stood there, watching as Lincoln slowly walked back to his room while holding his impressive stack of comics, having her eyes fixated perpetually on Lincoln's back, only to break her trance-like state the moment Lincoln turned around, facing her with a look that she could have only describe as… disgust

Not a single move could come from her mouth or body, as they stared at each other for what felt like an eternity, at least to her, eventually, Lincoln's look softened, from a still stern but at least… empathic… look, for which he proceeded to just slowly turn on the doorknob and close it.

Lola stood still, at the edge of her and Lana's room door, watching the now closed door leading to her brother's room, knowing what she had done and, probably, knowing that he already knew as well

Lana had already been gone for a few hours, she said she was going to some mud wrestling match hosted by that farm-boy friend of Lincoln's, Lincoln probably knew about that to, as it's no secret that Lana rarely is home in the daytime, even on weekends, in fact, that day precisely, no one was in the Loud's residence other than Lucy, Lincoln, and herself, but Lincoln was too busy helping that attention-starved goth write her hideous "dark" poems to even think about his little sister Lola Loud playing alone with her dolls while preparing for the next pageant. Still, it was probably a little bit too reckless, perhaps even, stupid, to steal his precious comics and pretend that she was angry and annoyed, just so that he would pay a little more attention to her, just.

A little more attention.
