"Yes, though your girlfriend did think that you had cheated on her, she forgave you because you showed that you were truly sorry. Fate just made it so she would suddenly not forgive you and would also get extremely mad."
"This is so unfair. Couldn't fate at least make it so that she didn't kill me?" Richard was depressed, pissed, and it seems like dead too. So, since he didn't have anything better to do, he resorted to whining.
"To be honest your death was a mistake. She didn't mean for you to die, at least not yet. You were fated to live until you were 91, and your dying earlier caused the end of your world. Don't look so surprised, the plans that you and your friends had would've kept the world from ending before humans could make it out of the earth, thus ensuring the survival of humanity."
"Really? I mean, we planned to help as many people in need as we could and take technology to the next level to lower the pollution levels. But to save earth and humanity? That's like 10 levels above whatever we hoped to achieve. " He didn't know what to say, he was dead, killed by his girlfriend due to a divine dispute, and his planet died with him. This was too much.
"Yeah well, since the death of your world was caused by the mistake of a primordial being, we decided that instead of saving this world, you will be given another chance and save another earth."

In your world, there was something often used in fictional tales known as "the gamer system", and we decided to give you something similar. The system that we will give you is more balanced and a little less restrictive than the one in the stories of your world. For example, you will still be able to be part of different races, but the physical changes can be hidden, and you can make visible only the traits that you want to show. There's also how you gain abilities; aside from the usual practising, you will be given 10 packs filled with random things for you to use or learn. You have packs that grant you abilities that vary from bed tidying to eating suns; packs that grant you companions from different universes and or fictional worlds, and also packs that grant you objects such as balls of mud or the eye of Agamoto. All of that is very broken, so we decided that to balance it, we will put restrictions. One of the restrictions is that to learn an ability, use an object, or summon a companion, you have to pass some requisites. But before continuing let's put the system inside you." Richard just looked at her in silence without even blinking for a few seconds while processing what was being said before nodding mutedly.
The lady gave him a pill and a cup of tea to go with it. For a few moments after swallowing the pill nothing happened, but then the pain started. A pain so strong it tore his brain apart, making him faint.
